I want to share with you this troll moment I had.

So while in selection screen, there were already 2 players that hated eachother because of their previous game. The first player in question had taken the jungler role and he was going to pick Kindred.

The second player had the top role and got to pick before him and he literally said ''I'm going jungle like or not'' and he insta locked Volibear and also banned Kindred in the banning phase.

Not wanting to worsen the scenario, the first player complied and took Riven top.

But then, the Volibear immediately switched his summonner spells for Flash teleport and called Riven a troll because he took ''his top role'' and called others to repport the troll.

Since the first player had taken the jungle role at first and he's now playing top, it seemed like he was the troller if people didn't read the log chat which seemed unfair.

How can Riot look at situations like this when some people are getting ''framed''?

Eventually we won the game (I was mid Karma) because they both muted each others but it wasn't fun at all because the volibear players didn't help the Riven the WHOLE game.

Games dead. Try Overwatch or something similar and forget this crap.

I dunno, not everybody is going to like the first person shooter genre, and may prefer this type of game genre, and generally don't want to deal with Heals of the Storm, Smite's first person view and linear skill set, Russian of the Ages 2, or any other random MOBA game out there. No game is perfect, League has its issues, mainly the community being split on a lot of stuff, but the game is very far from dead considering it is one of the most popular online games.

paladins is fun, its in alpha, paragon is quite interesting and in beta. battleborn idk about and overwatch same way.

Overwatch isn't a game like League though. It's similar, but not close. So I really don't know why people are comparing the two.

I play Paladins, its in closed beta, its pretty fun. I play with friends mostly though but it is buggy as hell. It's getting better.

Oh don't get me wrong, the beta is buggy as fuck, but it's still a lot of fun. I think there have been 4 new champions in the past 2 months. They've added a sniper in the past month. It's different from Overwatch in the fact that in Overwatch headshots are a 1 shot kill and people tend to die faster. Paladins is still more Headshot will do more damage, but not necessarily instakill someone. If you are interested, I'd get the founders pack (its 20 bucks), honestly I think it's worth it. Plus you get 2 keys to share with friends.

My apologize. The game isn't dead, the player base has just become pure grade school. The competitiveness of this game has been replaced with childish CoD kids who want to play for KDA, because it's fun.

Not dead, just dying, attempting to grasp the last remaining hope it has. Children who don't know any better.

Since when? 2 years ago? You know Diablo II servers are still up. They're also overrun with bots, almost no real players. Kind of like what is happening to League.

Last year, there were many articles that claimed League of Legend was at the top. Also, for your bot comment, I have yet to encounter more than two bots in my entire time playing the game.

It might not be, it might still be. I just know it's not dying as you claim.

Personally I hate first person shooters, and HoTS is utter shit. It's just so boring... I hate Dunkey But Dunkey's video on it sums up my opinions pretty well.

But than again, I still enjoy League even though every else seems to be ahem rioting

Sadly, no system is perfect and there will always be small exploits open to players spiteful enough to use them. I can't say I'll ever understand that mindset; using a game, something you presumably do to have fun, as a tool to screw over someone else at the expense of your own win rate and account standing, but w/e.

I was jungling and had a jhin complain 7 minutes in that I hadn't ganked bot before I hit level 6...I was playing rengar and they pushed lane the first 10 minutes.

What they say is that riot will always first actually read the chat logs before deciding on a ban (to make sure someone wasnt reported unfairly). The pregame chat is also recorded in the chat logs (where they can see voli saying that he was going to jungle), so theoretically there shouldn't be a problem.

Well... he was the first in pick order so technicaly he had the right to chose his lane whatever the people below are saying... but the rest seems pretty trolly so... welcome to lol i guess? But remember one thing!

ALL of those trolls are honorable members of league of legends comunity, YOU are the bad guy for flaming them, even if your score is 22/1 or so :)

"Pick Order" isn't pick order. I can only assume this is Blind and not Dynamic -- Which along with Dynamic is a system that is catering to the "unspoken" and unenforced rule of FCFS, which never is a factor when everyone involved is discussion who can and will do what.

No, not if he's not verbally abusing players.

Irregardless of "pick order", there's this thing called diplomacy and team cohesion -- It was already turning sour from the pre-game saltiness since neither of them could move past the past loss to make the new game a win, and the Volibear player pushed it further by intentionally trolling him and the entire team by holding top/Jungle rolls hostage with their actions.

As for trolls and unrepentant agitators being "honorable", there's never and will never be honor among thieves -- Because this is the tilting s*it behavior that robs people of fun, time and energy -- damned if you do, damned if you don't, and punished if you tilt far enough off the earth that you snap.

Also, "report begging" is both harassment and punishable -- Ontop of the fact that since the Riven was innocent by your description of events, the Volibear player would have his report value and the report value of everyone else who falsely reported dropped -- if not also punished if he was toxic like this from games prior.
