Smurfs

There are a lot of smurfs in Bronze, and any elo, that make it impossible to rank up. I have been against these smurfs multiple times and it makes me sad to see how people play in low elo when they are high elo players just to make fun of them and have fun. I think that there should be a button in the report section so you can report smurfs. It takes away all of the fun in League and I cannot enjoy the game with these people always flaming and making me constantly lose LP and elo... What I am trying to say here is that maybe Riot should tighten the rules on smurfing. So, if you agree press that up button and lets make a message to Riot!

Yet the people who downvote this are the first ones to complain about champions being overpowered when someone actually is a diamond smurf. Cause thats fair...

This is probably off topic. But I keep imagining little blue guys in white hats and pants when I see the word "smurf."

you're just as likely to get a smurf on your team as the enemy team is, don't see the point in whining about it

Riot could easily help identify the smurfs who try to destroy lower level players. They could add a rental system that cost RP or IP to get rid of smurfs who try new champions. They could also add a training system with higher level players so that people wont have to smurf to play with their friends. It could be like a buddy system so you dont have to get a smurf account.

Most " smurfs " I meet always seem to do the worse on the team because they want the role they want.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I remember going into S3 and I had the same Udyr jungle three times in a row. Needless to say I got my promos won after a stressful loss.

I see this more of an issue with Riot's Matchmaking system than it is with the players themselves. You will never be able to stop the smurfs from making new accounts since this is a free game.

However you can 100% stomp on smurfs parade with a proper matchmaking system. I have smurfed and played in all League in all Divisions under Master and I can tell you. The issue isn't the smurfs keeping me up or down. The issue is the fact the system takes way too long to differentiate between good or bad.

Disclaimer: If I smurf Bronze I get jumped Leagues however I can get stuck in SIlver purely based off the toxic cesspool of teammates raging at eachother and go 17-0 each game and the game still won't recognize I shouldn't be there for a ridiculous period of time

It's a sad reality, but there's no verfiable method to prove it. It would be better if Riot focused on sportsmanship than untraceable cheats.
