Riot should implement another permaban redemption program

GD3RD·10/24/2017, 5:20:38 AM·3 votes·949 views

So recently I got banned for 1. Inting games and 2. Being toxic in chat, and got a perma just 2 days ago for griefing.... honestly I feel like there should be some way of getting my $500 dollar account back... if Riot truly believes in reforming, why not implement a system of let’s say, get an account to honor 5 in x amount of time to get my account back? Honesty riot is full of shit about their whole reforming gig if they don’t have some system of getting perma accounts back... Riot enployees please comment, also to add, the reform project they did years ago that failed miserably shouldn’t mean that they should never try again, Einstein failed 100 experiments before the lightbulb.....

You were warned 3 times that if the behavior continued you'd be banned you didn't listen why would adding another level to that change anything?

So you're saying you had prior chances to reform after being punished on a non permanent basis and you didn't reform but now that you got a permaban, you actually want to try and reform?

.....Is no one going to mention that Einstein had nothing to do with the light bulb?

Riot does truly believe in reforming, however...

honestly I feel like there should be some way of getting my $500 dollar account back...

You aren't interested in reforming, you're interested in the money you gave to Riot and the account from which you did it.

If you are interested in reforming; create a new account, and don't make the same mistakes. Don't grief, don't intentionally feed, and don't be toxic.

You're not getting that account back - Permanent ban means Permanent ban. The only times Riot will revoke a ban is if they found they delivered it in error, which it seems yours wasn't.

You understand the economics of a business poorly.

Riot does not care if you reform.

Riot does care that you abide by their terms of service aka summoner's code.

You can still be the SHITBRICK you are and abide by their rules.

Only banned people always cry and suggest implementing 'better' rules or ask about refunds.

FYI, banned people (incuding you) only account for less than 1% of the entire player base. The rest of the normal world enjoys their purchases and don't ask for refunds.

Next time, follow the rules and BE NORMAL.

Multiple punishments are used to see if a player is able to reform before getting permabanned. You failed to show that you can reform, so why would you think Riot owes you an opportunity to redeem yourself? Just because you gave them money doesn't mean that they owe you anything in return.

Case closed. Bye.

Noone wants an intentional feeder in their games and still you have the audacity to doubt the rightfulness of the punishment system. Disgusting.

Lol .. Einstein and light bulb..

100 times of failure to attempt to create a light bulb VS 3 times of no attempts to reform. Doesn't look like a proper comparison.

They give you a chance of redemption to reform after an initial 14 day ban. If they were willing to release a "perma"ban then it wouldn't be very "permanent" would it? Also, by the way this post is worded and the way you seem to respond to comments it is VERY clear you have not reformed nor do you intend to.

You had 3 chances and you threw them all. I think that says it all.

I think they don't do this because they don't see the reform system like the invention of the lightbulb and more the route alchemist took to discover gold. They don't feel that this will ever have a satisfying result.

To be fair I dont think they could do something like this again, unless they kept it in secret. Because now that people know about it the next time they do something like this would just make people cheat the system and only be nice during that duration. Once its done and they get their accounts back they would more than likely get toxic, or troll again and thus repeating the cycle.
