To the Team that Refused to Surrender

Thank you for adding an additional 28:17 on to the loss.

I really enjoyed going 3-21 while being blown up by a 32-5-16 Miss Fortune who was doing single 1600 HP basic attacks. The 18-1-15 Aatrox on the other team really added to the experience.

We still lost and you ensured I played one less game last night and really ruined my experience, while scaring me off from wanting to try Caitlyn again.

There are games where it's impossible to win, it's inevitable. No one ever gets 100% winrate.

However, some people (not you specifically) give up way too early. These people that just say "gg surr" and act negatively for the rest of the game, basically ensuring the loss, are even worse. Some even flame the team, get toxic the whole game and refuse to at least try to win. They essentially help the enemy team win.

What's worse, losing a game you know it's lost but teammates refuse to surrender, or losing a game knowing there was a possibility to win but there's a teammate who refuses to cooperate on the objective? I'd say it's obviously the latter.

Also, why would you hate people who are trying to win? Is it bad to not surrender? The answer is like they would say in every sport, no. The best answer in sports will always be "never surrender until the very end".

Think about the people who might have been enjoying that game, not even necessarily on the enemy team. Even if you are losing, it teaches you how to play when behind. It teaches you focus. They've got a 35-5 MF? You tell your team, don't even look at anyone else until MF is dead. Its all perspective man. 👍

You went an additional 28:17? Sounds like your team actually had some hope to win in spite of your feeding.

Are you saying the game went 48:17, because that sounds like plenty of time to turn the game around. The longer the game goes on the less a gold lead means. You can catch up in level and finish your build. Sure maybe you had a terrible start, but if you can stall out a game then it just comes down to one important teamfight. So why give up.
