So, does Riot really have a zero tolerance on hate speech?

Just wondering because I've been called a fa**ot twice in two weeks, and after reporting them never got an instant feedback notification.

People call it zero tolerance, but from what I've seen, it's closer to minimal tolerance.

  1. People don't necessarily get banned from a single instance.

  2. First tier punishment for hate speech is a two-week ban, giving them one chance to clean up.

  3. It's easier and catchier to call something zero tolerance.

for whatever reason (seriously riot pls rethink this) you dont always get an instant feedback message. in fact its said to be a 10-20% chance to get one.

and they seem to go back in a weird way. i remember one day i played 6 games in a row without having to report anyone. the next day i log in and i got a feedback message. 2 days before i only reported one guy... so did he get punished like 48 hours later and i got the feedback for it? it really confused me.

Do keep in mind the Instant Feedback notification doesn't trigger unless your report was the one to trigger the punishment, or your report was the most recent one when this person was punished.

In other words, just because you don't see the notification doesn't necessarily mean they are banned.
