People are being horrible at Ranked right now, why are you so lenient, Riot?

Yes, I know, joke's on me for waiting until now to try to rank up, but seriously. People have been something else in my Ranked matches, and I'm not even talking about performance, but attitude.

Disregarding how everyone seems to have a stick up their rear, In these last 3 days I've played, I've had 2 teammates who when their support says something to them, they just decide to pack up and begin running it down, and all I can do is watch them from top lane.

The worst part? They're still playing up to this point, I won't link them as per the naming and shaming rule, but it really is disheartening to see this, because these people cost other people a perfectly winnable match (in both instances, we actually had an edge on the enemy team, which makes it even worse), and I can't even speak my mind to them, because I know that the chat bot will catch my comments and punish me instead of them, so I have to swallow up my frustration.

I'm going to bill you the medical checkup when the ulcer wrecks me, rito. But seriously, what the hell is the deal with your leniency towards Intentional feeders? I get that it's harder to detect than when someone flames, but this really makes it hella difficult to tell me friends that they're wrong when they go all "Why even bother reporting? They aren't going to be punished." on me.

Our team was doing well.

Someone: Rammus can you come group Rammus: stfu

1 min later he flashes in to taunt their Amumu for no reason and we lost the game

The ladder always gets into an upheaval around the end of the season.

That's seemingly when the most accounts start getting banned, and toxicity in its forms starts spreading.

I recommend being content with your position until the new season if you are stuck in the sands of negativity. Save your strength, and your sanity.

From someone who knows.

I very much doubt they are “running it down”. If they were, they’d be punished almost instantly after the game. Riot’s system is very good at detecting legitimate cases of “running it down”.

Maybe you’re getting frustrated because they’re losing lane, they get tilted, and they can’t come back from it. That is not punishable.

Ranked is always horrible at the end of the season. The missions to play ranked games at this time of year are a bad joke.

I'm baffled what people are pulling almost every game

Because words hurt more than intentional feeding. Unfortunately, your server has contracted a Riot Lytetitus. Please adhere to your local EU / KR server for immediate treatment.

Final dashers. GL I can only imagine how bad they are. Any self respecting rank player would have stopped a month or so ago. 😂 😂 It seems like the logical thing to do if you played league a while.

The primary problem is that Riot relies on automated systems. That means that unless they want to start banning a lot of innocent people, they can't really write an algorithm that will quickly catch all, or maybe even most, people that are griefing.

It has been SO bad lately. I ranked up to Gold 2 early in the season and stopped doing ranked cause why bother? I have my rewards already, whats the point? Then I made the HORRIBLE mistake of thinking, "I'm so close to Platinum, I should just make the climb". Got to Gold 1 99 LP with zero issues, and then started the fall. My ELO is currently at Silver 1 while I'm at Gold 4. This last week has been the worst LoL experience I've had in the 5 years since I started. Including, but not limited to: intentional feeders, flamers, griefers, and afkers, atleast one but perhaps more every single game. Sometimes, when you're really lucky, each of your teammates personifies their own favorite form of toxicity.

Just don't make my mistake, don't let it get to you, talk a little shit back to them, and get chat restricted/all end of season rewards taken away. It isn't worth it.
