If the devs effectively explained their reasoning for those actions that make them look like incompetent, biased, money-grubbing monkeys.
On the other hand, the devs should have thicker skin. The devs should be willing to listen to any type of criticism, or opinions that oppose theirs. I feel they should focus on one's arguments/criticism, not their insults.
They should not pussy out on communicating completely just because some people are being toxic. That basically fucks over the people that aren't toxic, and just want communication.
It is also evident that the lack of communication from the devs encourages people to become hostile
