Why are people such a bad sport whether they win or they lose?

I don't see what the point of acting cocky or flaming because you won or lost a round in some video game is.

The only thing it's going to potentially do is get you chat restricted or banned. And that sort of behavior isn't going to go over well anywhere else in real life.

I genuinely believe that a lot of people really don't have much else better going for their lives, so they put a disproportionate level of attention and care to whatever occupies their time, like League of Legends. In turn, people become over passionate to the game as they have no other alternatives in their lives for attention, vindication, success, etc etc.

It's not anything Riot Games can really remedy when a lot of behaviour problems are more rooted to external factors manifesting themselves in game.

I can tell you that it seems to be a bigger problem on LOL than other games. I think people just get into the anonymous part of it, get tired of being pc and know nothing will happen, so might as well whoop some butt then take a dump on the person as well

I really wish it would. I've reported so many people for saying "ez" and other insults after wins and sadly have never got the message that one of the people I reported for this got punished due to my report.

because there is no way to have fun when you're losing now.

winning is semi fun and most of the time its nt worth it.

as a solo queue player when im on my main i hate playing the game.

when you lose, its because of something you cant control. when you win, its because someone on the neemy team as incredibly bad and you snowballed off the matchmaking advantage.
