FINALLY THEY CONFIRMED IT. i know we all knew this already, but there were still people arguing its not true, and that there is no riot source saying so.

I think there's a difference between bullying a player and ganging up on to report, and reminding the other players to not forget to report someone.

For example there's a toxic guy talking jn all chat. During this game I would remind everyone... Don't forget to report vayne etc.

Obviously premades etc ganging up and reporting is not cool.

That wouldn't be fine either. One report has the same power as nine reports. Still a toxic thing to say if you can just saying nothing and report them yourself.

Because all it does is get people annoyed, and the people who do it often think that by calling for reports they can scare/bully people into doing whatever they want.

i dont follow. how is it bullying people into doing what they want. i see somebody acting like an ass in all chat then asking for reports i just report the ass instead of who he asked. if somebody is an ass in all chat or clearly being toxic and their team asks me to report hell yeah im reporting. every report counts, its not annoying at all unless the guy decides to spam it

It's bullying because you're using the threat of a report to try to get someone to do what you want them to do. Not only that but report calling in general is meaningless anyways since it usually won't get the player acting up to stop. If you need to report someone then just do it without saying so in the chat.

you are right on only one thing, that the player wont stop. nothing tends to make those people stop raging. however calling attention to the problem is not really a bad thing. banding together to help get rid of a toxic player is only a positive and shows solidarity between teams. even if calling for it does nothing, at least you tried to have others help you bring action to a problematic player.

It is just calling useless attention to the player. Attention that they probably want.

If you want to do something, report at the end of the game. There is no banding together, reports do not work like that.

I know most people think they are helping by trying to get more reports, but they aren't. At best they are changing nothing, but really in a lot of cases they are just feeding the trolls and giving the ragers a feeling of justification.
