Just a Reminder that using Laugh Emote to mock others is punishable

Long story short. the Laugh emote was made to portray a Champion's laughing and not to make fun of others and promote shaming Fails.

Mockery of any Kind is considered shaming, which by riot's reports are covered under harrassment. It falls under a Zero tolerance policy, meaning there is no such Thing as "just a prank bro" and "i'm only joking, chill".

Your ego isn't worth being struck by the system. take it with a grain of salt, i leave accepting this fact to each person's own.

Edit: Downvotes will be considered as denial to the content with inherent salt. If i see no comments telling why you would think otherwise i will just assume you guys are mad that this fact is not what you like it to be.

It actually isn't. Please just mute people that are getting on your nerves with emotes.

Nope.

Can you post links or evidence to any instances where someone got punished for spamming laugh, or any emotes for that matter?

If it were punishable by Riot, they would remove it from the game, because there is literally no other point to the laugh emote than to use it. This is knit-picking, perhaps at its finest.

There is no way to report this. There is no way to track this. There is no way to prove intent with this. There is no way to justify banning someone over this. Your bruised ego doesn't make rules apply where they do not.

so is using mastery emote punishable?

Also, how might riot track this?

As long as Riot doesn't make it official, I'll keep doing it as much as I want.

I don't love players who abuse the laugh emote, but this seems silly. The champions have taunts, laughs...what is the point of having taunts in the game, then saying "don't taunt people or you could get banned"? In what situation is a taunt or laugh considered "friendly"?

They made that emote for a reason. And if your that tilted just mute the emotes. Click the icon in the Tab Part Of The Game.
