and that's all well and fine, its basically saying stop talking so much and i have, and while it was kinda silly for the reasoning its not up to me, clearly some people had their feelings hurt and leagues just not the game where any emotion can be shared ever. and thats fine, thats cool. whats not cool is apparently im not eligible for mastery tokens... so with 350k points on wu, i was pretty excited to hear there was gonna be two more tiers, and to my disappointment it seems ill never be able to get them since its linked to hextech.

i get the chat ban, but either give me a set punishment or get rid of it. clearly i wasn't being that much of a pain if it was just a chat restriction and not a ban, but its kinda frustrating that im still getting punished even though the punishment was clearly stated as the 10 game ban and further reprecautions would be put in place if i continued being toxic. this is my first offense and its just kinda silly im still getting punished after the set punishment is lifted

This is a form of punishment and you do not have any right to determine how you're punished. You acted in a way that the majority of the player base does not approve of. You agreed (by playing the game) that you would follow the rules. You didn't and now you're punished.

If you change around your behavior your ban will go away and eventually you can earn your loot.

If you don't change your attitude then just be prepared to be punished again and the pattern will continue until eventually you may lose your account. That's the risk of not behaving.

The restriction will go away if you can last a period of time without being reported a lot, to prove you're reformed. For chat restrictions, it shouldn't last more than 2 weeks.

Edit:

Clearly i wasn't being that much of a pain if it was just a chat restriction and not a ban

Also, the system doesn't work like that. It's an incremental system, the same for everyone.

  • First Punishment: 10 game chat ban
  • Second: 25 game chat ban
  • Third: 2 week ban
  • Fourth: permanent ban

If you're especially severe (think death threats, homophobia) you can skip punishments, but otherwise you'll always go in that order. If it qualified for a 10 game chat ban, it can qualify for a permanent ban if you don't reform.

It's so astonishing how easily people are to breaking the rules. I've been playing for possibly over 5 years and not one warning. Like seriously is it that hard to be civil when you play? Or do you need to trash talk/harass one another when you start losing? I know it might not pertain to you specifically OP, but just in general!

Just pretend there wasn't a thing such as champion mastery.
