Playing Yasuo feels like begging to be bullied in game

This is a bullshit mentality. People hate this champ so much that they would go above and beyond any heights and lengths to make sure said Yas-Player will NOT have a fun game at all.

Champion-based discrimination like that should be moved into actual discrimination and punished accordingly. Every time i see someone be yasuo, friend or enemy, or when i try him myself. EVERYONE tries to find a way to tilt the yasuo and shame him. Comments like "Says a yasuo Player" "typical low elo Yas mains" are so fucking common it is surreal. People don't even consider that behind the yasuo is an actual individual person who they so surfacially judge. Playing this champ or even worse, trying to learn him and his mechanics makes you automatically a target for toxicity from everyone in your vicinity. Your enemies will debunk your existence to the point where you instantly die if you leave fountain, and your team will support the enemy by hating on you shamelessly.

People would camp the ever living fuck out of this yasuo and even refuse to end the games in order to 5 man dive fountain and kill him off to deny him even playing in itself. Get this, people hate yasuo so much they would willingly lose just to make sure he can't Play or can't enjoy playing at all.

This bullcrap Needs to stop. This isn't just some hateful banter anymore. Yasuo Players shouldn't be discriminated like they are solely based on what they Play and how. People really are just finding another excuse to enforce some misguided and i daresay mental form of discrimination.

Seeing people hate on the Yas-playerbase makes me so fucking disgusted to be alive, since recently i have to take meds before a game starts just to survive the toxicity he/she is about to receive and unless i /Mute all im forced to see that throughout the whole fucking game.

Just thinking about this makes me depressed again.

Edit: I forgot to mention that it doesn't help whatsoever that the community likes to meme Things like this. Telling people they are trash isn't ok, but if you tell it to a yasuo suddenly everyone is laughing and agreeing? I'm calling major bullshit on that.

And it would be obvious that passionate yasuo haters would just downvote because they Need to have something to vent their inhuman hatred out. since discriminating based on real life categories isn't allowed they will just find an excuse in fictional categories like champion pick.

Edit 2: im talking about the general case not just myself. To whoever points fingers at me and just says its about me can re-read this thread.

Edit 3: the answers i got just prove my point. People really just want to hate. Just reading how unserious this is taken and that people just keep pointing fingers at me and keep just saying that the issue is me underlines how bull this is. So thanks....for ruining whatever hope i had left to reason with people.

One would think that the holyday season would make people less hateful and biast and instead i trip across the worst case because i try to address fairness....

Please don't equate and/or compare being bullied for a choice you make in a video game to being a sufferer of racism. It completely diminishes the very real, very long-lived institutionalized and systemic bias and those who deal with it their entire lives... and to be honest, it makes you sound super entitled and whiny when you do it.

You have plenty of ways to combat being mistreated in LoL. The easiest and best solution: the mute feature. You can easily mute all in game by typing /ignore all or /mute all. And better yet, you can completely disable /all chat in your game settings and never have to worry about what your enemy is spamming in chat. If you are bullied in a league game, use the report feature. It works (as evidenced by the amount of toxic players complaining about their bans on the boards). The great thing about the report feature is that you can report for griefing, and in the conveniently supplied box, add notes about what happened so it can be reviewed.

Furthermore, if playing League is so detrimental to your health that you have to premedicate just to play one match, you would do well to consider not playing League anymore.

Firstly, talking about downvotes is a surefire way to make sure you get downvoted to oblivion. It's completely beside the conversation, and all it does is show (at least, to me) that you care more about some superficial agreement/disagreement than you do your discussion.

So, from someone who generally loves Yasuo, have a downvote.

As for the rest of this...There are dozens of Champions out there that, for no good reason, will ensure someone somewhere is going to hate you. Master Yi, Ezreal, Vayne, Riven, Yasuo, Teemo - to name a few. Whether you do good or bad, all the vitriol in the world is going to be channeled in your direction, one way or another.

And, honestly, like Psychicgammarays said, if you see people starting to go on with that shitty "kill the Yasuo" mentality, you can mute them. There isn't really much else to say on the matter, as far as I can see.

You probably want to play a gentler game XD

Dawg, I main Teemo. Don't even talk to me about being "bullied".

My advice to you? Leave your safe space, put on your big boy pants and if you insist on playing such a widely-hated champ, find a way to make it work to your advantage. The entire enemy team coming to stomp on your head? Cool, good thing you're top and your team is pushing bot and getting dragon.

You act like this is the first and only time this kinda thing has happened and "It needs to stop" because it's wrong. Self-entitled crap if ever I've heard. /Mute all exists for a reason. If chat is toxic, use it. If the enemy is repeatedly trying to kill you... that is their freaking job. Either play a different champ or get thicker skin about that. But if you're picking Yas, flying around doing the typical yas and whining when the enemy all rushes to kill you over and over (which, BTW is one of the only ways to shut down a hyper-scaling champ like Yas) you're just being a spoiled child. People get killed in league. People get camped. Unless the game is full troll with your own team stepping aside to let them 5v1 you over and over (a rare thing, I'm sure) then it's just the game being played normally. Chat is toxic no matter what you do and dying is part of the game. Stop with this BS of making it all about yourself and making yourself the only victim.

Do you know what happens to the kid who cries to teacher that he's getting picked on and forces the teacher to make a special rule JUST FOR HIM to keep him from being picked on? He gets picked on more for acting like a freaking baby. If you want to stop people from ganking and killing you over and over, don't die to ganks. If you want them to stop camping your lane, make camping your lane a bad idea and a waste of their time. If you want them to stop saying "lol typical yasuo" in chat, stop doing shit that a typical yasuo scrub would do. Stop embodying the bronzest of the bronze mentality with a big ol' pile of stubborn, self-entitlement to boot and prove you're better than all that. Or just mute chat like any sane person would. But don't demand that everyone and everything change to suit you so that you can play your favorite champ exactly how you want whenever you want and no one is allowed to kill you or give you shit for it. If you want to play baby-first softball.... play beginner bots.

I camp Yasuo players because they tilt easily and think everything is about 1v1's or somehow pertains to them.

lol. Dude, it might not just be that you play Yasuo. It might be that you are really, really bad with him. 3/12/2, 1/15/4, 3/9/2 . . . . Not saying it's okay to flame you. However, the fact that you're getting so tilted kind of just confirms the stereotype of Yas players. I'd definitely camp you.
