go blind pick or just wait awhile, the hype dies down and then they're pretty much 100% pickable
I mean it sucks but its to be expected with a new champion, or a champion who gets a new skin. either play blind pick, or wait it out.
Well, it's rather simple. Stop using the declare your champion feature, and dont tell people you want to play her. Happened to me numerous times in, ahm, lower elo games. Some people ban the champions their team wants to play on purpose. So I just don't tell them what to play anymore. Granted that's a bit harder with a popular champ that gets banned a lot ....
