@Smite Nunu support defenders, if I'm assigned ADC, lock in Talon, and play him mid, am I trolling?
Serious Question.
Serious Question.
You are assigned bot lane, not ADC. You can go Talon bot lane though.
You're getting downvoted, but this is a good conversation to have. I want to take it a bit further. Let's say I queue for jungle and bot lane, but my definition of what it means to be a "jungler" is to go into the enemy base and farm minions there. Technically am I jungling, according to my definition? Sure am. But does my definition match that of most players in this game? Probably not. Herein lies the problem. His definition of what it means to "support" differs from the rest of his team (and if I'm going to be honest, most players as well). When he says "well technically I'm supporting the team just not by being in bot lane all game" he's right by his definition, but where does that leave the other four players who have different definitions or expectations of a support? At what point do you tell the other four players that they have to deal with it because he defines support differently? I don't think it's fair for one person to define something differently then expect everyone else to go along with it.
Go away troll
That would be trolling because the main definition of roles are the income flows. If you are assigned top, that means the top lane income flow (ie the minions) are yours. If you are assigned jungle, that means the jungle camps on your side of the jungle are yours. If you are assigned support, that means you have no income flow. If you were assigned bot and then go mid instead, you're forfeiting your assigned income flow (botlane minions) and taking the income flow rightfully assigned to somebody else (the midlane minions) and that's definitely stealing roles.
But if you are assigned support and decide to counter jungle, then you are neither taking income from somebody else (the enemy camps are up for grabs) nor forfeiting a valuable income flow (because as a support you don't get one in the first place). That makes it completely valid, as opposed to being bot going mid instead.
You play talon bot and have over a 50% win rate in Diamond then yeah go for it. If you force your team mate out of his lane to do it no. The nunu didn't force his jg to stop jging. He supported his team by crippling the enemy team.
I mean you could at least pick another role with the lane agency of a support. A role who doesn't have a dedicated income that youre leaving behind you. It's not like support gets anything out of staying bot lane other than it is just meta that adc's need a babysitter and scapegoat and tactically the best choice in normal situations.
Probably would be trolling. But, if you stated the plan in champ select early enough that the support can pick something that can hold bot. I don't see the issue. That could work. (Unless you take mid's farm)
he's not since, he's applying pressure on the enemy champion that has the highest ratio of screwing every lane. sure it put is lane partner in a tight spot that's where there's a turret to cover for his absence.
I doubt you even realised what Nunu was doing. So often i see people claiming he was simply duo jungling and crap like that.
In your example you do the following: You take your champion, whose position in teambuilder was "Bot" and move ths champion to a different lane in order to occupy a lane, that is **already **occupied from your team. Nunu does something different. He is taking his champion, **not **to farm the lane another **ally **is **already **farming, but he takes his champ into the enemy's jungle to farm an area of the map, that is **not ** occupied by his team, but by the enemy team.
This is fundamentally different and has nothing to do with what you propose. It is a completly seperate topic in itself.
