What impact does a few queue dodges have on your account?

I think I've dodged... maybe 4 or 5 queues in the past year or so. So far I haven't been banned (not that riot knows my reasons), 3 of them have been because I got distracted by the outside world and forgot to lock in my champ, one was just now in a ranked match because a guy banned my champion and demanded that I let him play support, (and I quote "Now I am the support!")

Far as I know, one or two don't do anything, but do they eventually add up? Does it effect ranked queue any differently than normal?

It's been a very long time since people were banned for queue dodging. And when it did happen, it was a one-off wave of bans for people who were abusing queue dodging (and also trying to force teammates into dodging by stealing roles or troll picks or just threatening to troll in chat).

What does happen with dodging is that you'll get queue dodge penalties, where you can't queue up for another game on that account for a period of time. Multiple dodges within one day will increase the time you have to wait. And if you dodge in ranked, you'll lose some LP as an additional penalty.

It's not a concern of total number of dodged champ selects, it's more a matter of frequency. As long as you're not dodging higher than 1/5 or 1/4 games then nothing will happen to you. Even if you dodge 2 or 3 lobbies in a night, you might get a 20 minute low priority queue but that'll be about it. In order to actually receive a suspension or something you really have to work at it, constantly dodging lobbies in high frequency for a long (like a week or 2) period of time.
