BLITZCRANK BOT: in-game client report

So i purposely didn't report in the in-game client coz i wanted to use the web version of the report system so i can attach a screenshot. When i reported, BLITZCRANK BOT said i already submitted an in-client report even though i specifically did not. I'm just wondering how all this things actually work and why does BLITZCRANK BOT thinks i already reported when i haven't yet.

EDIT: Just trying to question the consistency and accuracy of the in-game report system. I clearly did not use the in-game report system, yet the system said i did.

The implication is vast. The system could say it's checking out your reports, when it could have not. It could say mass reporting are not counted when it could've.

Of course, I'm not trying to start something here. This are just the thoughts I am wondering. Ultimately, I made this discussion to satisfy my curiosity. So don't take this discussion too seriously everyone okay.

My purpose is to collect your report of ERASED/REDACTED USERNAME , make sure it is investigated and place it directly into our system.** It appears you successfully submitted an in-client report involving this particular player and match**, so I’ve gone ahead and registered your additional report information to that case. This will be attached to the reported account’s permanent record. Do not worry, we got your back, human - your report will be properly addressed.

Reporting verbal abuse is vital to ensuring consequences for offending players. Continue doing so, human. Each report matters, and they improve our detection systems over time.

I notice in the last 20 games you’ve made 4 reports. Thank you, my fleshy crusader! The system is gluttonous, feeding on reports such as yours to gain strength, like a human feeding on protein powder. For the offending players in question, your reports are helping to build a case against them and may result in a chat restriction or ban.

Well, because maybe you did and you forgot, or maybe because they were reported by someone else submitted an in-client report (the case for the game would not be "extra" with your report in such case).

Also, a screenshot is almost never necessary... so why did you need to even clog up the ticket system with a report?

What else are you looking for here, man?

You submitted the ticket. Move on, and in the future, report them in-client after the game. You don't need to provide screenshots and evidence.

That message just means someone reported the said player already.

Since report counts per game doesn't stack, it counts the same as you reported them already.

As others have said, there is no need to submit any screenshot or video footage. Riot already has access to all of those things (and more, including the player's click location, click speed, keyboard presses, ping plus more) and it is not necessary to provide information that could be altered.

Next time, please just use the post game report screen instead.

the comments arent of much help so here i go: the ticket system is a 99% copy pasted answer (until you answer again then usually a human answers back... with copy pasting the same shit but flavoring it up with some clear human lines)

many people on the boards say tickets are a good thing. i say: fuck that shit from my experience THEY DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

what many people never mention: the average support guy CAN NOT ban people. because they arent some riot employee going through complaints or stuff. they are what is known as "front desk" these people are usually hired to deal with complaints but have no real impact. the best they can do is send your case to the corresponding person. (if you ever had to complain irl about maybe something you bought, you know exactly what im talking about. you land at the front desk and the person can do absolutely nothing for you).

bottom line: boards somehow like tickets. my experience and common sense tells me they are shit. do NOT use them unless you really have to. or you dont value your own time
