So apparently my team requested I be reported for "toxic" yet here's what happened,

Lyseth (akali): slain by Gragas (everyone on my team): pings "?" on me Lyseth (akali): Guys, that's not helping Bard: It's not supposed to. bard uses ult to get me killed OVER and OVER and OVER again Lyseth (akali): wtf are you doing Bard? Bard: trying to save your ass. Lyseth (akali): by constantly ulting me? Bard: you need to ACTUALLY dodge it. Lyseth (akali): How can I when I'm CC'd then you ult that close to me? Bard: then you need to git gud. Lyseth (akali): so you mean, don't do what you're doing? Bard: stfu retard Everyone on my team: Report Akali for being toxic.

After game:

Bard: Report Akali Lyseth (akali): Don't I get a say in this? Bard: She kept calling everyone of us insert N word Lyseth (akali): I most certainly DID NOT Bard: stfu f****t!

So how exactly was I the toxic one? apparently my whole team reported me for "homophobia and int feeding"

False reports will often act against the reporter. If you report them for harassment and report requesting, you'll come out ahead in the end.

Theres your problem right there.

You attempted team communication.

Riot hates it when people use team communication and they will punish you for doing it.

... They'll also punish you for not doing it...

Their stance is actually a oxymoron on this subject.

Since the only way to correct in game actions is team communication.... but practically anything you communicate can be taken as reportable.

In fact, you just simply saying your going to report someone is punishable in itself. I know I was shocked too when they told me.

So prettymuch, ritos plan is they know their servers are super toxic, so instead of attempting to fix something they cant fix (in game player actions) they are instead doing damage control. This means making people like you stfu about their toxic servers or the toxic players in it, since if nobody is alowed to talk about it, there isn't a problem.. right?

I keep trying to get help desk to address this but they keep talking about some chat restriction from 4 months ago when I'm actually trying to talk to them about the oxymorons in their system and how nothing has changed in their system aside of harsher punishments since season 1 (I know I've been playing that long)

This company has zero interest in reform or advancing this community past it either.

You open help requests they will straight up denie you a manager, or tell you they don't have one and are all equals part of a team... its like they have zero accountability for not doing their job properly, if a toxic person goes back into the system, its no big to their paycheck or their job, they could care less....

Welcome to the meat-grinder, where nobody cares and the more you complain or point out the issues, the more you'll be grinded and treated like your the problem.

First, if you reported everything accurate you weren't toxic. However, I haven't seen the full log, so I can't really help too much there.

Now, as for the rest.

You made a few mistakes and it looks like you ran into a group that was having "issues".

Your first mistake was to respond to the collection of ? pings. One thing I learned long ago about this game is that there are a lot of jerks who like to think they are special and better than anyone else. They will try to raise a response from a player who makes a mistake. Now your death to Gragas must have been something they thought shouldn't have happened, so out come the pings. When that happens you need to ignore them and just play your game. By responding you invited your "teammates" to try to spoil your game and see if they could report you.

Your second mistake was to complain after the Bard ult. Yes, it probably was intentional, but all you can do at that point is avoid being near Bard. Don't ever talk to someone who is doing what he was doing, you will end up with people asking for report support.

Now as another pointed out, the report system is heavily automated. When a report goes in the game log is reviewed by a computer program. it looks mostly for words or phrases that have previously been identified as "toxic". If it finds them a ban is usually issued. If it doesn't, it will just erase the record of the report. So if you haven't been toxic, the report means nothing. If you have, you'd have received feedback from Riot after the game that goes beyond the brief "you have been reported." ping.

And multiple reports in the same game don't increase the punishment. One report will get the log reviewed. Also the request is considered a form of bullying. You should have reported Bard for requesting that others make the request.

My best recommendation though is don't let people get under your skin. Just play your game. League of Legends is a game and is meant to be fun. We all want to win, but losing does not have any long term effects. You won't lose your house, your girlfriend or your life if you lose. Try to win, but lose with dignity. The game is far more enjoyable if you don't get too wrapped up in the results.
