Qutting League Because of Loot Restriction

Trust me, there isn't anything about the system that I don't already know, so don't even try to inform me. I know it all, I've become a goddamned expert on it, and I still think it's bogus and too severe, at least for someone like me who only had ONE 10-game chat restriction 22 days before the loot system even launched and I get retroactively punished? That was such bullshit. I gave it 5 more days and then I quit. I honestly don't even care if it's up now, I feel mistreated by the whole thing. Blindsided by a punishment I thought I had already served out.

I talked to support about it, they just said to post here, so whatever, I'm posting here so maybe someone at Rito will climb off their high horse for five seconds to realize that toxic people are people too, and that the loot punishment really needs a clear duration. That was legit my biggest issue. Not knowing when I'd regain the ability to earn chests and being reminded by that stupid chat spam after every single game was horrible. I don't like feeling like a freaking parolee when I'm playing a damn video game, especially after such a minor offense.

I honestly don't think that constantly reminding players that they were toxic is the best way to reform them. I honestly have never gotten this feeling from a video game...you might then conclude "haha! then it's working!", but to that I say "haha! No it isn't!" Because I don't like feeling guilty for an indeterminate amount of time, so I'd rather just straight up quit then deal with it. I play video games to have fun, not to get brow-beaten.

But ultimately Riot doesn't even care, do they? This new punishment system has made me realize that Riot doesn't care about the toxic segment of its playerbase at all. They're desperate to shed the game's toxic image and would rather dumpster a few hundred thousand players than even try to work with them, or even think about how the punishments make them feel, and I don't like that. So I'm out.

So you quit because you didn't get loot for 5 days. Ok then.

hextech isnt a feature that is free to use for everyone, its a feature given to nice players. and with you still being banned from it the system is trying to show you that when you get back on "the right path" you get free stuff.

Just do some bot games and spam meaningless "gj" "wtg" "ggwp" to give the system what it wants, hell, you may even get a ribbon.

So you're leaving because you aren't getting free stuff? How entitled are you?

Oh no! One less league player!

btw you are not entitled to rewards. Rewards are a reward to positive players.

The system is working even better than expected if it is making you all quit too :)

Until you realize that your rude manners and chat like this doesn't help you be considered a kind person. I'm glad the system is working well to keep players like you out.
