The automated system is a joke. Here's an example why.

Two days ago I had an ARAM game where 2 players on the enemy team started arguing with each other in the post-game lobby. One of them ended up throwing racist and homophobic insults at the other and wished them to die in a terror attack. https://imgur.com/a/lhSjE I obviously reported the toxic player and I decided to track their account activity for the past few days to see if they ended up being banned. Unsurprisingly, they're still playing. Maybe because they've been playing every single game with at least 2 premades who probably aren't going to ever report them, no matter what they do or say. https://imgur.com/a/LqMPk https://imgur.com/a/oWxnp This is way the vast majority of players has no trust whatsoever in your automated player behaviour system, Riot.

Indicates you don't actually understand how the system works. Since that would not affect wether they get banned or not.

And before you bring up 0 tolerance, that only applies to in game. Since 4 other people are forced to deal with it. Outside when people can flat out leave it will usually result in a chat ban.

post game lobby is not checked by the system because riot has the simple rule of "what happens in the client doesnt concern us at all"

Just got a 14 day ban because two randoms who i matchmade with decided TO TROLL ME MY SUPPORT AND MY TOP LANER but I GET BANNED? Riot this needs a overhaul!! what a garbage report system!!

Yeah, i've seen straightforward death threats manually reported through support and not get so much as a 2 week. Their stances on these things is pretty sad.

Someone told "I hope you get cancer and die" last game, I reported them, guess what? Literally nothing happened, they're still playing games.
