I don't even know what to say.

Every single game is either a huge nail biting rage fest where my team isn't that bad but doesn't pay attention because they're too busy hitting their enter button, or my whole team is a bunch of clueless players that make you wonder how they even managed to climb past Bronze V.

None of these games are a test of skill, they are a test of which team has more ragers & Bronze V players.

Seriously, I swear making it out of Silver now days isn't about how well you play.. it's about <removed by moderation> and make them feel good about themselves so they'll actually play the game and shut up.

The first time I've ever placed was in bronze 1 and I lost my promos 3 times because of the reasons you listed. I finally made it to silver 5, but I tell you that anything bronze/silver does not feel very achieving.

I have less problems with silver 3 and above in terms of skill levels -- and more problems when it comes to player attitude. Especially during the wee morning hours (for my timezone, EST USA); there seems to be a larger influx of shitty attitudes and huge egos.

Don't want to be that guy, but you can almost always either

A. Solo carry

B. Be a good leader and convince your team to play together for 40 mins or so.

Now obviously, there are games you can't win, but I refuse to believe that your losses all come from bad teammates and ragers.

All I can really say is try focusing more on your gameplay than your teammates.

100% agree, i got lucky for 6 games in a row where my team was not toxic and we did not have an afk, won all of them easily. After that ive been getting ww supps, afkers, toxic people that just drag everyone into the convo, and people that feed (or are just so bad that they seem like they are inting) and this happens all the time. Im not saying im good or deserve to be gold or anything like that, but this yoyoing up and down from Silver 5-3 based on oh does my team have one of these people or does the other just sucks. Obviously this is not all games, there are some that I am jsut being beaten by a better player or team but tbh i would say the majority of silver games are like this.
