PSA: Teamwork
League of Legends is a team game.
Sooooo obvious, right? Not to a lot of people. Ask anyone who's ever been flamed in chat. Oh wait, that's probably just about everyone...
League of Legends is a team game. If your team loses, your TEAM lost. You can rage and flame at people all you want. You can type out 'git gud', or 'kys' or whatever all you want. Your TEAM lost. You may be a great carry player, but you won't be able to carry every game. Instead of 'git gud', maybe ask people what they're building and help them make themselves better with the champ? Instead of 'kys', maybe ask them what's going on in their lane that they've died X times and offer a solution?
I know it can be hard, but hold your temper in check and make the community better and maybe avoid a ban for yourself. Not everyone has been playing Garen since season 1 and can counter every champ pick because they own all of them. Go into every game assuming that that feeder on your team has only been playing for a week and help them out. If they ignore you, feel free to report them for trolling, because at that point you told them how to fix the problem and they purposely ignored it (assuming the solution you gave them wasn't 'kys' or 'git gud').
I know I'm not the best at a lot of things here on LoL, but even I try to help the new players out. It sickens me to see, for example, someone who has been saying 'I'm m7 every champ and been here since season 1' start flaming someone because they died twice in the first 10 minutes.
