Encouraging suicide should always be an INSTANT ban

There is no excuse for a player to have any leniency after they tell a player "kys" or "kill yourself".

That should, always, no matter what, be an instant 2-week ban.

None of this "players who say this are usually caught eventually with other, more frequent toxic behaviors" bullshit.

No excuses. As soon as it happens, ban them.

Riot, you want your playerbase to take your Player Behavior and Moderation systems seriously, but you don't have zero tolerance policies for these kinds of messages and behaviors.

As of right now, encouraging suicide is not an instant ban, and that shows Riot does NOT have a zero tolerance policy regarding it.

Shameful.

At the risk of being downvoted to hell... I completely agree, a person that is depressed playing a game to cheer themselves up or trying to distract themselves and then gets told something like that can very well make them so much worse at least temporarily. (source I have depression myself) When I'm feeling depressed negative stuff always makes things worse. Yes you can mute them, but thing is if they have already said that, you have that stuck in your head now. Play with friends? Hope you have 4 friends, and if you're lucky enough to there's always the enemy team if you have /all chat on.

There is NO reason to ever tell someone that.

You can't say people don't take that crap seriously. "kys" is usually accompanied by other hurtful comments and really is toxicity. I mean, league is like any other game. If it's that disrespectful to tell someone to kill themselves in a game of chess, sports, or anything else, it's disrespectful in league. Not saying all people take it seriously, but it really is offensive to a lot of players, and in essence, it can lead to more flaming.

If "kys" is found with any other hurtful comments, it really should be bannable. I hate players who think it's ok to just make it personal all of a sudden when we are playing a game that has nothing to do with real life.

that's just words nobody should be banned for words chat restriction is the proper punishment for verbal abuse

and yes, nobody takes that "kys" crap seriously anyway

p.s. sticks and stones etc, do they even teach that verse to children any more, so many pretending that their feelings were hurt around nowadays that it is barely tolerable

No.

The system is already incredibly draconian, it does not need to be more draconian no matter how badly you leftists/feminists want. Riot has drawn the line and (hopefully) the line will not be placed in a more extreme position.

i once remember one of my teammates (ashe ) saying i will kms i am so bad at everything, and i wrote "dont do that i love you" then she wrote the dialogue to /all chat... boy that was the most honors i got in a single game .

and i agree, any form of "kys" excluding "get executed before rengar kills you" should be an instant 1/2 days ban, or at lleast a punishment
