Can you report someone for purposely trying to make someone angry?

This one game this [enemy player] tried to purposely make our top laner loose his mind by trash-talking, being arrogant/cocky (about their KDA), and just about anything else to make them mad (that player actually got emotional at that point), I felt sorry for that player.

I know that you can just mute them, but it doesn't stop the enemy player spamming CTRL + 4 (Laugh Spam) or CTRL + 3 (Dance Spam) near the dead body of the player they were trying to make mad.

Is this something that is reportable?

Only if they broke one of the rules in the process. For example, trash-talking and mocking players is something you definitely can get punished for, spamming taunts or emotes isn't.

Even that. If you do it all the time and just to annoy people, then you could get punished.

Yes. Deliberately causing a poor game experience for someone via chat is a punishable offence.

no it doesn't, doesn't mute emotes at least the other 2 yes.

Not even /fullmute all gets rid of the emote cancer. You have to click 9 buttons on every match start to mute them.

I do it all the time in ARAM. It 100% always works. All you have to do is mute their chat, such as /mute @champion or clicking the chat bubble next to their name.

Try it in a custom with a friend. One person on each side. Have them emote (this only works for the ctrl emotes joke/laugh/taunt/dance) and you will no longer see or hear it.

/mute all mutes every chat and ctrl emote for everyone, btw.

It is bannable yes. I think I've had four accounts banned for this. Since they are so cheap to just buy a lvl 30 account that's all I play for now. Upsetting people to get their mains banned. Until riot changes its penalty system and deals with actual fucking issues instead of just words I just pay to play the ban game.

Some people get enjoyment from the suffering of others. I think its really great. If riots ban system is verbal only, and you enjoy those popups, go for it.

A recent example of this was a Fizz flaming out the Caitlyn for how bad they were, except the ADC seemed to be just fine except for the lack of performance from his abuse.

But emotes? Might be a little overthinking that a poro over someone's champion is trying to hurt your feelings.

Some people will spam their mastery, or their level emote, the "Was that Me?" Ashe emote... all because they think it's funny, and it IS tilting. The mastery/level emotes is basically that player saying, "haha I'm better than you" and the "Was that Me?" emote is a way of them saying, "oh, did i make this happen?" because they know full-well they did because they were doing it on purpose.

Emotes can very well be tilting if used by the player purposely trying to tilt/piss off another player when they're doing bad.

honestly the hours of memories of hundreds of ashe mains eating dirt make it impossible for me to really take an ashe emote seriously
