I want to be able to hide my mastery in the loading screen

I know this has been said before, but I would gladly give up my ability to see any players mastery and rank if it meant that nobody would be able to see my total mastery on my favorite champion. I one trick jinx. I’m probably going to get camped. I’ve accepted this. But I don’t want the enemy to know that I have a stupidly large amount of mastery. That will only give them even more reason to camp me. On top of that, it means that I have to do well or some joker will use it to flame me. And I know that if I maimed jungle, I would 100% abuse this, so I can’t be the only one.

This doesn’t even get into the idea about how easily I could use this to tilt somebody.

I wouldn't. I enjoy receiving comments from allies and enemies alike at the start of the game.

They might decide to camp you based on having a ton of mastery... or they might decide not to camp you based on having a ton of mastery. I certainly haven't noticed any increase in being camped... though mastery gain is gradual so it would be subtle if it was happening.

This right here... is facts. However, toxic people gon' toxic. If they want to flame they'll find something to flame about.

Anyway, that's just my opinions. [poppy-wink]

with things like OP.GG and other websites/software it easily preloads and tells you every ones stats on champs. so why does it matter if it shows your mastery on a champ in load screen?

riot can remove it, but if they dont remove it from 3rd party sites/apps then it dont matter

There are a few websites, most notable ones would be ChampionMasteryLookup and MasteryPoints. I've used both sites infrequently and my Google Chrome/McCafe/Norton never showed any issues with them if you wanted to check them out. They should be safe.

These websites have been up for a while, IIRC.

Im an Aatrox 1 trick and i would LOVE this change to be added so I could make it so nobody saw my mastery because I am almost always camped in top lane and that almost always makes me lose lane and it is so annoying because people always say "how are you so bad with 300,000+ mastery" and they only killed me because there jg camped my lane and ganked me 20 times within the first 10 minutes

honestly the fact you got high mastery scares me as a jungler mentality i would avoid that lane afraid of even giving ONE kill equals gg i would rather deal with a lower mastery top laner lol.
