So...what is up with people in diamond rank?

I'm happy I got promoted but holy jalapenos there is no team work and lots of trolling/raging/feeding/afks. I'm tempted to demote myself just because of how toxic people are. I've had two games (four if you count ones dodged) where a person in champ select said "I refuse to play X position" then sniped a position from another player (I might have seen this once in plat if at all). I've seen 2 intentional feeders that then AFKed (something like 4-6 for just straight up AFK). Every game it's like pulling teeth to get the team to work together as a 5 man unit instead of constant 131 setups because everyone and their grandmother is trying to solo carry the game (don't get me start on lack of wards). I notice the same thing happening on the other team too and more then once have seen purchases. Every game has someone throwing out insults or raging about how x, y or z player is at fault. I haven't been in diamond long but Plat rank was way more friendly and people worked together a lot more then they do now. Hopefully the new honor system will help out but I must say I am shocked at how toxic and unhappy players are in Diamond. This really worries me because I only reached Diamond last week and this seems to be the common game and sure these things don't always happen to me but the frequency is startling.
