3 years until a chat restriction... now what?

I’ve been playing for 3 years and I’ve been pretty toxic throughout... Now, I’ve significantly reformed since 2 years ago where I would be cursing out every single game, but a couple games a few weeks ago caused me a 10 game chat restriction.

I’m sure I’ve amassed over 10 reports before this restriction came into place. Now I know my account is on thin ice, but how strict is it? If I get one singular report am I going to get a 25-game restriction? I know that after a 14-day ban, ANYTHING will get you permabanned, but is it the same in this case? I’m all for ignoring all at the beginning of the game and not talking; I’ve won considerably more games and generally have felt better and less tilted about losses when I do this; but that makes me VERY worried because people in my very low ELO will report for literally no reason; once my support reported me for playing too safe in lane without me saying anything offesnif my account is in bad standing will that one report be considered restriction-worthy?

It really doesn’t seem right that I can get over 10 reports before one restriction, then have only ONE report cause the next punishment. If anyone could give clarification on this I would appreciate it, thank you!

Welcome to the system! Once this chat restriction ends, if you type a single potentially-negative message in a game that you get reported in, you will be escalated to a 25 game chat restriction. If you're extremely toxic, you'll go straight to a 2 week ban. For reference, I called one player a moron in my first game after my 2 week ban, and I was permanently banned a few minutes later.

It will take many months for you to regain honor, and many, many months to reset your punishment level. Good luck to you.

yea, if you get one singular report of a game in which you badmouthed, then you will go to a 25 game restriction or even worse

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a system in place that clearly explained the punishment, how it was decided, and how it compared to other people in the community so you could review it for appropriateness instead of just 'trusting' that somehow the system worked all while the community continues to become more and more toxic around us? That sure would be nice.

I don't wanna scare you, just letting you know:

Your account is as good as perma-banned. Inb4 an Emissary comes and says "haha, no, your behavior determines that".

Nope. Look: "you guys are bad.".

Is this offensive? Toxic? No. At best it is unwelcome to be said, but you will get the next ban for it.

Your only bet is seriously to not say anything at all. NOTHING.

To answer your question, your account will go back into good standing as long as you play non-negative games. You will even improve if you say nothing at all.

If you are reported for no reason, nothing is likely to happen, and even if something does happen riot will readily overturn any punishment that is undeserved.
