Leavers: The Worst Kind of Players.

This game gets absolutely out of hand at times.

I can handle the trolls. Don't feed into their behaviors and they get bored. I can handle the intentional feeders. Don't follow them anywhere. Push wherever they're not, the enemy team flocks to the free gold. I can handle the "bad players". They're learning the game or a new champion or a new playstyle.** Help them,** don't insult them.

What I can't handle are the_** leavers_ and the consequences we suffer because of them. Why do we still lose LP when people leave 5 minutes into the game? And why does the enemy team capitalizing on the fact that we're down two players insist that we should just give up and give them the free win because they leave? I just got done with a game where Xerath left 3 minutes in for no reason and about 8 minutes later his duo Shen leaves the game as well. What penalty do they get?_ The same as the people who tried their asses off to make up for the lack of two teammates._** Unless they are constantly leaving games, the people who just left your game and wasted everyone's time lose the same amount of LP, and will suffer no more loss than you. So I ask you, Riot, why should the rest of us not leave games we don't want to play anymore? Other than the fact that I, personally, would feel like an asshole for wasting time.

I can handle leavers, I can't handle people who wouldn't be able to tolerate their own behavior. It just boggles the mind and never fails even though it's a daily occurrence.

Oh I had one the other day that was awful.

It was ARAM and there was an enemy illaoi. Our Olaf kept standing in front of or away from the minions so he always got hit by illaoi E. He started complain that illaoi is bull and OP. We told him to stay behind minions so she couldn't grab him. Instead he said, and I quote "Nah I think I'll just play a game that doesn't suck" and then 2 seconds later _a summoner as disconnected _ Then our MF is like "well just let them push to a win" and then spend the rest of the game standing in the fountain walking back and forth until the game was over.

Pissed me off.

You shouldn't leave if you don't want to deal with a 20 minute wait. But otherwise, it's better to leave than to bait yourself into getting upset and raging in chat.

Well said. I mean the game has been out for over six years now and Riot still isn't actively looking for a solution to this issue? Luck shouldn't be playing this big of a role in a competitive mode.
