Question to Riot: Is it easy to tell difference between someone climbing fast and being boosted?

I started playing on a smurf i haven't played on in a long time. and am climbing fast on it, because well I'm better now. no one else is playing on it but me and I'm logging on consistently from my own computer.

I know when you climb fast in a short period it gets attention for sure, but I'm asking is can you guys easily tell the difference between the two? I've put a fair amount of money into this account and I would hate for it be banned because I'm climbing fast.

It is usually based on IP addresses, behaviors.

I mean I'm sure they have a system in place that probably has a lot of information on the matter. With things like ip access, where the account is located, being played at the most. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if the client itself has a way to check what programs are open along with it.

They obviously won't go into detail about the matter since people will try to use any information they give to try and break the game any way they can!

How they're playing.

Habits and behaviors are a pretty major component. When you see someone suddenly switch the keys for flash and ignite and win 15 games on a row with a kda of twenty, that's a booster.

There's also the distinction between MMR and rank. Your MMR doesn't decay like rank does, and if your MMR stays the same throughout the win streak, then you almost certainly aren't boosting.

It is pretty interesting when I look at your match history and you can go 11/1 and 16/3 but then the next games you can go 6/6/9 or 1/6 or 2/2. Its just extremely odd how varying your results are. Not accusing of anything but im just interested and how you can have such drastic changes in your scores unless you have friends playing with you in these games or do you really play that mixed?

:they can tell through things like click speed, skill shot accuracy, dodge habbits, champ pool is an obvious one.

Every game mode has a MMR system involved in it. even ARAM.

If you are climbing well in rank you can skip tiers and get moved faster to where you probably should be.

i find it funny for the ones in ARAM and i bring this up because its a pretty good example. If you have a ARAM account and win constantly your queue times will be around 10 mins as you wait for other ARAM accounts or finally get grouped with normal people who didnt bother to try and stack a account for one game mode.
