And i have never enjoyed league of legends so much, some of the least frustrating games ive had in awhile.

i turn it back on to see how it affects me, the enemy leesin is spamming all chat every single time he lands a q, wont stop flaming and bragging about he is plat v (in silver normal elo, now im not saying hes boosted but....he was trash af after early game) i was tilted almost immediately, wanted the game to just end.

Makes me wonder why all chat was ever even added in the first place. Very scarcely is it used for anything positive after the one outlier who says "GLHF!"

I'm new, but if someone makes a good play on me, I like to give credit where it's due. That is my only purpose for all chat as it stands. My first experience with someone flashing in and wrecking my illusions was rather awe-inspiring. I'm sure I'll encounter more of that in the future. But you are right about the toxic. My games have a 100% rate of someone going full crybaby at some point, and I wonder why that is the case.

I keep my chat muted at the start of every game nowadays. I don't trust the League community to be "nice" nowadays after consistent negative experiences with people in League that aren't my friends irl.

It's also one of the main reasons for why I haven't said "gg" at the end of my games since this season started. This season is unusually more toxic than normal, since it's usually a toxic postgame chat from what I've seen.

I wonder how many times I could have avoided throwing my mouse to the woodchipper in anger.

(I know a teemo plush fits in there nicely...and is quite satisfying to see the fluff fly out the other end.)
