Yes, I did afk once before, but I also had no choice that time. But it just doesn't feel fair that an internet crash should count.

The leaver buster cannot determine WHY you went AFK. Be it a crash, client issue, internet problem, gremlins in the lines, etc. It punishes everyone equally with the same punishement: longer queue times.

Just don't make a habit of it and you'll be fine.

Erm... I'm trying to get... unbanned (for the sake of time I'll be calling it 'banned'). Prob not gonna work since they can't determine it, but... :/

But it's really annoying since it takes longer to queue than it takes for the match to be decided.

You're using the wrong words. You're not "banned" in that you can never play again. The client has made you wait longer to join a game. Provided you don't do that consistently, you'll be cleared of the long wait status and be able to queue again normally.

If your internet is crashing, then take that up with your ISP. It's their job to fix it.

You quoted me saying that I'll be calling it 'banned' since it's shorter. That's why I said banned. Don't wanna type out lower priority queue every time, y'know.

Impossible for riot to look into (and verify) every claim of a crash/explosion/little sister unplugging the Ethernet.

So every afk is punished the same way.

Yeah, but why is this even a good way to punish people? First of all, Riot want's people to play with their friends - you can see that from Hextech Crafting. But if you're in lower priority queue, then everyone in your premade has to wait. Second, waiting more means playing the game less. Why would Riot make people play the game less. It also makes every match take almost twice as long, considering most people are ff'ing at 20 (except when there's some IDIOT who won't, even though we're clearly losing and 2 of us are trolling - well, all five of us are trolling since we can't win.) A 20 minute wait, and 5 games, is an hour and 2/3's spent waiting. I could've played 3 more games in that time. Riot is hurting itself with this. After all, if I needed to afk this wouldn't stop me.
