Does Context Matter?

Game 1 what you see is I had a Garen Silver 4, he gave me problems and gave me shit and I just responded to what he said. Everyone was bot I used herald top and he said that was worthless. We get two towers out of my play and we had every objective. He gets mad I said I am going to just mute him and move on (Thinking this is just a discussion about gameplay, not a form of toxicity) after the game was over he continued to argue and I just simply stated to him how I felt about his knowledge of the game being a low tiered player with a low win rate and then I left. I didn't excessively argue and if you read the chat log I am talking to the mid laner TF about how busted Kindred is.

Game 2: I had an Akali player who was really toxic to me, he flamed me about losing lane and I just tried to help him because I noticed he was going guntech then stopped building that for an armguard. I told him hes losing his lane against yasuo because hes splitting his gold up. These are normal games why can't I help someone? Even if they want to be ignorant and ignore me, subconsciously they might reflect after the game and try what I said. I risked and explained to him. The enemy Yasuo agreed, she all chated said I am being toxic and I told him what I said and they said well hes giving you good advice just listen to it. But I get a chat restriction because of this? I agree the post chat of game 1 is bad but if I play over thousands of games and this is all you got on me? Seriously???? SO what? I lose ranked rewards because I tried to be constructive in my speech, granted I had 1 slip in game 1. But game 2 dealing with a toxic mid laner who complains and then throws your advice away because you aren't a "mid lane" but the fact I watch TF Blade all the time and I do know a little bit about this game I can't use it to help people? I don't know if this was because I said a "key" word that triggered this or what but I don't feel this is justified. I never said anyone was Garbage, I never said anyone was trash, I never called anyone a name, I didn't emotionally abuse anyone, I wasn't Racist, I wasn't homophobic, I didn't AFK, I didn't throw the game on purpose over these talks, THEY WERE just discussions.

Also again, thousands of games played this is the only two games on my report, one was me satirely giving a player who didn't want advice, advice and the other was me telling someone to not tell me how to play if they can't achieve what I have, which no offense to any of you isn't rank shaming, its pointing out a simple fact, whether or not that fact hurts your feelings is regardless I said it respectively as I started by saying "No offense" as in I am not trying to be disrespectful but this is how I view the situation lets move on, and I DID. I ignored him after that and he afked farm until they ended. Again if this is what it takes to be chat restricted then you all should be worried. Because this means there is zero point in a chat system in a game if you can't even give constructive feedback.

Asking for reports is reportable Also you pretty much was harassing him for the whole game. Tone down with the talking and the judging and actually focus on playing the game! Who cares what the garen is doing/saying.

Don't respond. Responding to toxicity with toxicity won't solve any problem at all.

Mute the trolls and report them after the game.

So now were going to personal attacks instead of being constructive about my post. You sir deserve my ban because I never attacked anyone, I simply made one statement to garen after he said my play was worthless, I told him no offense before my "offesnsive" statement. Not to mention sir, you done nothing but hijacked my post and provided nothing but one snippet out of a thousand games of "wrong doing". Riot makes girl champions unrealistic and purposely borderline nudity but yet I cant make a comment about someone talking shit to me's rank? Anytime someone says something to me I look at their rank, its a VERY good indication if I should listen to them or not. To say otherwise just means you are a strawman looking to waste peoples time. I could careless about my chat restriction its more annoying that making one comment and moving on gets you banned. When I said report garen it was the end of the game and it went in before the defeat screen, also Garen was AFK farming when TF our midlaner gave ^^ arrows to suggest he was with what I said. So don't sit here hijack my post and call peoples name.

Several people have pointed out why they found your chat to be punishable. And they're right. You're condescending to other players, and "No offense" does not immediately absolve you from your proceeding statements. Rank-shaming, which is what you did in both games, does nothing but insult other teammates. Your "advice" that you gave in the second match could have been fine, had it been only a few lines, but you dedicated a large amount of your chat to criticizing someone's build. You also called for reports, and called other players toxic, which again are negative.

I'm reiterating most of what others have said, with the added advice that you can either accept and change your behavior, or keep the attitude that you've displayed here. You should know that following chat restrictions of 10 and 25 games is a 2-week ban, then a permanent ban.
