So recently I was chat restricted for below

Yeah explain my chat restriction then.. text inside ( ) is my context incase it appears bad Game 1 In-Game oC Static: where is poppy? (I didnt see her in lane) oC Static: lol so lcose oC Static: cuz its normal lol (I was autofilled trying a champ I never played) oC Static: lol he wasted his ult for an 0/4 player (Was talking about Shen on the enemy team to my team mates) oC Static: 2 min ult for an 0/4 shen I dont know if that was smart (Again talking to Shen about his ult usage I was 0/4) oC Static: 20 gold? ( He said he got gold from assist) oC Static: then roam lux (Lux flamed me for being killed by her laner so I just suggested she roamed to help me get back) oC Static: youy want me to play my lane or respond to your toxicity (Was being flamed hard by mid and bot I was getting pretty tilted) oC Static: cuz its normal and I dont care really when im autofilled (this was about trading I wasn't saying I don't care and will int) oC Static: I wouldnt of traded (See above) oC Static: free chance to hit an ez level 1 riven (See above, I been working on my mastery levels when I get autofilled) oC Static: stop being toxic kid and eat some ceral (Was making a hangry joke to Lux) oC Static: cereal oC Static: bud your cs is suffering because your being toxic responding to me while you are losing your lane.. So I felt the chat restriction was uncalled for, I don't mute people and never will because it defeats being a team game. I Just told people to stop being toxic and play the game and to stop flaming me, hoping to refocus them on winning which we did win.

I set out played 88 games and still stuck at Honor 0 level 0 of 3. Sent a ticket into Riot and asked about my chat restriction validity. I get sent what looked like a script written by a psychologist and the rioter wouldn't explain what was toxic in my chat. Because I feel like I still deserve rewards I decided, I will just beat the system and play insane amounts of games over a few day periods to see if its possible to hit honor 2 1 month before season ends. Sadly after 88 games still no honor. Even though I have been in many games where I was the most honored and or getting 1 to 2 honors. I have been honoring non-toxic players in every game to show Riot I am capable of honoring my teammates and showing love. I really feel like Honor is being slowed at least on my account for some reason it just doesn't feel like natural progression.

It is possible for your Honor Progress to be slowed/halted if you keep up negative behavior. Valid reports (they don't necessarily have to result in a punishment) can slow your Honor Progress, so if you're still being negative and getting reported for it, no amount of Honors will really help you reclimb the Honor Levels.

You realize that even mild toxicity will slow down you honors progress?

If you thought your punishment was unfair, chances are you are still using phrases that are harassment in nature. After all, you think that what you are saying is fine.

So you spend a lot of the game complaining about other people in chat and Riot has made a very large push for discouraging people from bitching and whining in game chat because it's overly negative and detracts from gameplay, cooperation, and teamwork.

Additionally, you asked for people to report others which ordinarily is ever so slightly negative, but you continued to ask for reports in post game as well. The reason why this is unnecessary and discouraged is that the code to review games is boolean. If one report is detected, the game is reviewed, thus why it's unnecessary to ask anyone. Not only does it discourage teamwork, it clearly triggers reciprocal negativity as you claimed you were asking for reports because they asked others to report you. It was just a negativity snowball that was just not necessary and you shouldn't have responded in kind.

Based on the chat logs, I'm guessing you got a 10 game chat restriction for this.

You know how i get honor even when im the weak link in the match? By shutting up and producing where i can because even when im the one getting stomped i find ways to remain part of the team wether my team likes it or not. That strategy is about to get me gold for the first time. Im just saying focus on your game dont antigonize people because even if your not using trigger words it still comes off as toxic to other players. You dont need to call someone the 3 letter F word to get chat restricted, just adding to the shit storm known as chat can doit.

Negative activity related to chat is essentially, "Did I offend some one this game?" That could be asking someone to ult...and they report you for it. Or it could be getting upset an someone for temporarily AFKing under tower. It is okay to temporarily afk or intentionally hold your ult to get someone killed, it is NOT okay to comment on it. That is bannable. Hope I cleared things up.

What I've learned from reading chat logs in this forum is this: never engage with someone that is flaming you, harassing you, etc. It will distract you, it will further distract the person flaming you, and you will open yourself up to potential punishment. I'd estimate somewhere around half of the chat logs I see in this forum the player who the log belongs to did not start it, but they did engage with the other player(s) and were punished for what they subsequently said.

Toxicity went way to long. After you know you and the player won't get along you just mute them and deal with it. Don't even respond.

There's a correlation between typing essays in chat and people who get banned. Also just calling others for being toxic. Riot has stated calling for reports is banable offense.

This isn't Riot's doing. Riot wants nothing more than for you to enjoy the game. But not by their player's expense. Regardless of the situation. Just because you felt like you had to retaliate against someone being toxic doesn't justify your own negative you're providing by being inflammatory. Also, Riot isn't liable to you in any way.

Two wrongs don't make right. No matter what honor you get, honor doesn't negate flags and honor doesn't protect you against penalties. Otherwise, the honor system would be abusive. Good thing it can't be when it comes to the policy.
