I was just held hostage in a game for 20 minutes. It was clearly after the first two that it was GG and that we'd just be stalling until the enemy could end it. My team were trolls and refused to open and held me hostage until they finally surrendered at the 22 minute mark.

Its fucking bullshit that I had to waste 20 minutes with dog shit inters who had no plans on contributing to a victory and just wanted to int and hold me hostage. I should have, from the game menu, been able to log out and login to a smurf account and jump into a new game. Fuck you Riot for empowering trolls

If you don't want to play a game of League, please do not push the "Play" or "Queue" buttons.

If you can't agree to play a full game until the Nexus falls, either don't play or take your punishment.

I just looked at the match history of the game in question and although nobody on your team performed outrageously well, that game wasn't 100% over and given time your team could have scaled and won the game.

Personally I don't mind that some players want to forfeit early, but it's not fair to blame your teammates and call them trolls for wanting to play out a game.

What you see as a lost cause, others see as an opportunity for comeback.

Edit: Totally forgot to mention that adding a log out function wouldn't do anything in a scenario like this. If the tables were turned and you were fed, someone could just log out and force you into a 4v5.

How is the game over in early game? People are bad at macros and they throw all the time mid/late game.

there is logging out of a game. it is called exit button. it is located right near surrender. look for it next match.

Maybe think twice before pushing the play button. If you can't handle a one-sided loss I don't think League is the game for you, as those games will happen from time to time to everyone.

Giving a logout button would empower trolls way more, imagine "hahaha its your ranked promos? oooh i feel so bad" leaves to go troll on other smurfs
