Should there be an additional punishment for players that afk and cause others to derank/lose promos

(me complaining) Title. Something needs to actively influence players not to afk. Not that that would be the key, but a start. 33 kills last game with an afk, one of my teammates got deranked and I'm at 6lp now.

A player has basically no way of knowing if you are in a promotion, lolnexus sometimes caches info so your real rank is not displayed properly.

I don't think you can reliably do what you propose. On a side note : the game you play, while it is your promo, is just a regular game of ranked league of legends to the other players.
