Behavior in low elo

Okay so I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but basically i wanted to play yi and be an annoyance to the enemy team because i was gonna go hourglass and banshee yi where he has high resistance, some ap. He was meant to be a deceptive tank because his w has a huge damage reduction and strong healing since im going ap. I am confident that low skill players don't know how to react to this because they will not use a disrupt cc on me during my meditate nor will anyone by grievious wounds. I am by no means saying this strategy is a good one but it was something I wanted to try in normals.

So I get in a game and the only opened spot is bot so it was perfect since i could be the support who meat shields the damage but then lux was also bot and chose lux last minute as support. Too late for me to switch of course. We are up against a jinx voli. I sit back because I don't want to last hit because since im melee, the jinx can free poke me when i try to cs, also voli is quite scary if i try to cs because he can walk up q flip me and jinx combo with traps and autos till i die. Knowing i have a lux, she doesnt have enough damage to scare the enemy or win the fight while im meditating to tank the damage so it is a lot more smart to just let lux farm the cs safely with range.

Obviously this is low elo game so the lux and other players don't know how to adapt to the situation. The lux is constantly telling me to farm even though I know it is a terrible idea. I tell her that she should farm since im melee and im gonna get poked or targeted if i try to last hit. So she starts to cs eventually and does a poor job at it but i let that slide because lux can still do high damage to jinx with no cs and is still useful with her cc. We were doing fine for a while and even had shen ganking for us several times and it always ended well for us. But then our own volibear at top disconnects and kass tells shen to cover top for now.

It was now a 4v5 and here is where toxicity happens. The kass says why is yi adc. Clearly i am not adc if im letting lux cs and im building tanky ap. But a lot of low skill players cannot see this or dont care and automatically put that im adc and lux is support because lux is normally a support so the only one who is adc is yi. I really get irritated by players doing this seriously because they starting having high expectations with the wrong ideas such as if im yi bot, i should have lots of cs since im the adc which is not even the case since i was playing more of the support role. The kass says why would i yi adc? I tell kass "i have no ad items, and im letting lux farm. What makes him think im adc?". Then the kass replies back 5 mins later oh great ap yi. In an effort to take his negative thoughts off on me or bad morale and try to help him focus on trying to do his best, i tell him that volibear is afk so he shouldnt be blaming me and just focusing on the game. He replies back saying i just want a normal game. not a game with fucks like me. I tell him that hey at least im playing and helping and not afk like volibear, you are more mad at a player trying than one who is afk? He replies yes. I then ignore him at this point and of course report him after because thats all i can do. At the end of the game, lux says "well doesnt seem right when a sup has more cs than adc.........". Idk bout you guys, but I feel im getting more stupid everyday playing with these players. Like how the hell does lux still say she is support and has more cs than adc when i clearly told her in game that she should cs since she has range? Why is it in her head she still thinks she is support and playing the support role? Why didn't she use some logic and think, oh hey, we don't have an adc and since im ranged i can reliably cs safely, so i gotta build offensively in a way to carry with dps or have high burst since we lack an adc. Nope, the lux doesnt really adapt. Despite not having adc, she still build support item despite having cs.

Yes this game was a big huge mess and im not saint, but I hate that people are so stuck to the meta and narrowminded that they cannot adapt to the situation at least in low skill games. And the toxicity that follows with them is so annoying and stupid that i guess i really should just mute all at the start of the game.
