If you can't lead by example, then you are just as guilty as the people you are charging with chat crimes in your game.
Anyone not at riot would get kicked off the forums, or banned from them for such an act.

I feel like it's meant as a message to the community. A show of force. Making an example out of the guy that has "Most Toxic Player NA" as his tagline on Twitch. Letting the entire community know that even though he's one of the most popular non-pro streamers, he's no longer allowed in their game.
Is it naming and shaming? Yes, it is. Is it a powerful message? Yeah, kind of. Will it work? Doubtful, considering that many of his fans have ramped up their toxicity in game "in honor" of him.
The reason and purpose of anti- Name and Shame rules on the boards:
In the case of Riot employees, they have access to the account history necessary to verify wrong doing. Tyler1 is not innocent. He has been openly trolling on his streams, and encouraging others to follow suite.
The only thing that could maybe be inappropriate with Riot Socrates post is the potential creation of a witch hunt. But in actuality the post only acted as a Lightning Rod for the witch hunt that Tyler1's stream incited on these boards. Had Riot Socrates not made that post those 5k downvotes would instead be hundreds or even thousands of Rage Posts spamming the PB&M boards and all of its other discussions. Heck, even with the Lightning Rod there were still Tyler1 fanboys posting around the boards. But it was to a much lesser degree thanks to that post.

I agree. Completely unprofessional behavior. I'm glad Tyler1 is banned; I wouldn't want to get stuck with him on my team. But I also don't want to get stuck with the lil b**chboi socrates on my team either. Equally toxic, and if he didn't like something I did in the game, he'd probably just make a special exception to the rules to get me banned.

Which is true lmao, and Riot is always preaching to me about how my (Intentional Feeding) getting me a 2 week ban was my fault that the Idiot totally decided to throw off my game not allowing me to lane, about how I am a player are supposed to lead by example (This is true) however Riot doesn't take into account that in some situations there is (Jack Shit) you can do, and while I agree with what Rioters told me its still pretty stupid to get a 2 week ban for feeding on a game that just isn't playable, but rather Riot should actually have taken a look at the game itself and dealt with the player who made the game unplayable hard....
But then we all know the (Summoners Code IS Taken as a joke these days.)???

I tell you that in Solo Queue, or Dynamic Queue 99.9% of games unless all 5 man are pre-made there is absolutely (ZERO TEAM WORK) or (TEAM PLAY) so yeah I think its taken as a joke, you say something all players do is argue you, and you just pray that the enemy team flat out sucks at the game or has trolls or the same type of players.
Personally I don't really care if people are called out or not if they are indeed toxic or have done things IMO they deserve it I just wish I could have seen logs and examples from Tyler 1 himself being toxic, because honestly I don't even know who the hell he is prior to him getting banned and it being a huge issue?
