The mindset of some players.

So, playing a game of Nexus Blitz. We had a Maokai, a Malphite, a Galio, a Yasuo and a Kha'Zix. Now, naturally, everyone went damage. Because it's Nexus Blitz and we want to have fun. Every time Kha'Zix died, and once we started falling behind, the did nothing but complain in chat about not grouping, and us losing etc. He started pinging items and complained that no one went tank, and that's why we were losing. I told him that it was Nexus Blitz, and to try having some fun. We wound up winning the game, being able to win a good teamfight during sudden death and destroy their nexus. So, I said "Haha now stfu Kha" because he was complaining. He replied "Enjoy the report". I asked why he was reporting me, and he called me a toxic fleabag and called me a prick. All because I wanted to have fun in a rotating game mode that's not taken seriously by anyone. But I'm the toxic one.

What? Just trying to have fun? In a video game? And not at the expense of others? BLASTPHAMY!

You don't speak for everyone.

Personally, I have fun trying to win. AKA take games seriously. If I wanted to "mess around" I would go into a custom game. Isn't the entire point of a competition to try to win?

Some players are competitive. The competitive mindset doesn't change regardless of the gamemode. As long as the goal is to win those players will want to win.
