Please Fix the Report System

OK. So I just played a game where our ADC rage quit the game, came back after being AFK for over 5 minutes because he "didn't want a 20 queue", began trolling the rest of the game, and the other team chose to honor him for giving them a free win instead of reporting him for trolling and intentionally going AFK. Not only that but this was also during my promos. Myself and my duo both reported him and never got a message saying that he had been punished. How is this ok???? Also in case anyone needs proof of what happened I was streaming the entire game so I have video evidence to back my claims. The summoners name was also inappropriate which is another thing that I reported him for hoping that it would catch Riots eyes but apparently it didn't. This. Is. Not. Ok. Please Riot, fix the system!!! P.S. My original post was deleted I'm assuming because I included the summoner name so this is a re-upload but the name has been removed. I apologize for that.

Post chat logs if you wanna know how you ended up banned. The report system isn't broken, your behavior is.

I was never banned, I'm saying that someone who deserved a ban from what i can tell got nothing

You only get the notification if your report which lead to flagging the match and then causing a punishment is, so to say, "the straw that broke the camels back".

Even then it's not guaranteed, so the lack of a message says nothing.

If it was a manual review you still don't get one from what I've heard from this section of the boards.

Interesting. I just know that in the past if someone is being incredibly toxic myself and others will report them and we'll get a response saying that they were punished so I guess not seeing one with a clear troll and evidence to back it up just made me even madder than I already was and still kinda am

FYI: You only need one report for a game to be potentially flagged. Multiple reports don't make it check harder.

I know that I've heard somewhere that you need more than one person to make it credible. don't remember where i heard that though so thanks for letting me know

There are a lot of misconceptions on how the automated system works, though it has a VERY low False Positive rate in handing out punishments of any kind.

Whether or not this person was honored has no effect on if they're considered for punishment. The largest factor is going to be if they were reported in that game. Since you did, that's what matters.

If they gather up enough reported games, those games that they were reported in will get scanned.
