You know what type of player I dislike the most?

The player(s) in a game who legitimately hold you hostage in a game where victory is all but impossible. I get it, you have high hopes for each game you play, but when you're multiple towers down in less than 20 minutes, we have an AFK player, and down multiple kills, it's time to give up. I really dislike being held in a 20 odd minute game where we're constantly dying and losing fights. It's fun for no one. It's just one of the worst experiences you can give your teammates.

I dislike the kind of player who'll surrender at the smallest thing. One of the worst feelings is when you get 4 of those in your team and they surrender a game that can easily be turned around.

The last several games I've won via surrender have been surprises to me. Like, we were winning, sure, but I still expected to need to take the Nexus to earn it.

Got a 5-0 surrender vote at 18 minutes last night for going 16-4 with two turrets and a dragon. Enemy was demoralized after our Karthus randomly got a Quadrakill off his ult. So sure, we were winning by a solid margin, but with only a few objectives taken. We hadn't even taken a t2 turret yet... surely they could have at least attempted a comeback?

I don't really think being "held hostage" is a thing. If surrender is appropriate, then the game will surely be ended soon even if the vote fails. And if the game doesn't end soon, then comebacks start becoming more realistic. Once you've survived to 35-45 minues, a pick results in an objective and an ace can often just win the game.

0 turrets destroyed, but 2 inhibs down on our side... and I have 5 out of 8 of the kills

the 1-12 vayne says "wtf??? why even surrender?? are u guys serious?!" "why play the freaking game if you're just gonna quit"

our renekton's like "vayne .. the game is over, get over it"

we try to ff 3 times, doesn't happen. so I go off to top lane and just farm, the only lane that still has an inhib/turret, cus i'm sick of dying nonstop. "report this fucking maokai, keeps trying to quit and now hes afk.. won't even try to win.

here's how you deal with a game like that -move out of your chair -punch a hole in the wall like you're a true alpha male AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH -get in the car to drive thru mcdonalds -come home to see the defeat screen

it sometimes is a form of trolling. ive heard people admit they are refusing to surrender and trying to extend the game to punish their teammates for being so bad

Shit, I thought that you were gonna go where you should have gone, and where I've always been.....hating the player who takes 15 minutes to load a fucking aram. Give me the noobs, trolls, feeders, thin skinned crybabies, and Teemo mains, but for the love of god, make the minimum system requirement for a game meet the standards of a 2008 iphone on AOL dialup.

I've played thousands of games so I can usually tell if a game is winnable or not, so I totally sympathize with this.

My friend, who is Plat II, told me "if you lose 2 towers in one lane in 20 minutes or less that's when you FF" - good sound advice since you're left with almost no defense to your base so early in the game before minions gain more damage. So I end up playing with people who think 32-5 is winnable.. for the 5 people who have 7 turrets gone and we have 1 of theirs. They have 3 dragons, we have 0. They had Betty (Rift Herald) and we didn't. Basically they are hanging out at our base spamming mastery emotes and taunting us but there's ALWAYS THOSE TWO PEOPLE who say "WE CAN DO THIIIIIS!" and.. yeah we can't. Sorry but when your ADC is 0/10 15 mins in and has 20 cs we ain't winning.

We need a surrender at 25+ mins to be 3/5, not 4. 60% is a majority and frankly it beats waiting for 15-20 minutes for people to see what most of us can see from 20 minutes in or less.

Although i dont like surrendering most times i agree. I think if 3 want surrender it should end, because often if they are mad enough they will afk farm or stay on fountian till it ends just wasting everyones time. If majority wants it to end just ff and go to next game. Being said, i wint surrender until i feel the game is unwinable
