Should we ban bad players?

Do you want them to be banned to stop them from ruining your games so you can finally get to the elo you deserve?

Of course not. Everyone is bad when they start playing. Or when they first start playing a champion. Or when they first play a new build. There are many different reasons why a player could have a bad score. But the point of playing is to have fun, to learn and specifically to learn to be a better player, which people cannot do if you simply ban them before they have a chance to learn.
And unless you are the absolute worst player in all of League, there will always be players who are "bad" compared to you. If you're in silver, you'll think bronze is bad. If you're in gold, you'll think silver and bronze are bad. If you're in plat, etc, etc, etc. But the matchmaking system is actually pretty good at getting people to where they actually belong, provided they put the time in to play the matches to get there.
lol if you are so good and think you are suppose to be higher you will over come bad players and rise... how do you think the people in diamond and higher get there? someone carried them through silver and gold with bad players?
how do those in master and challenger get there through all the bad diamond 5 and plat players?
oh wait ... they are at those elos because of their skill and talent at the game and get there regardless of the "bad players" you want to have banned
and so what elo do you think you deserve ? and you think other players in the rank/tier/mmr/elo you are currently at are holding you back?

So if you go against a smurf back to back or get camped to death you should be banned to right?

Everyone can have bad games. Bad games happen even when playing your main, and they happen more often when playing new champions. I'm sure you have had some bad games too, do you want to get banned for that?
You don't ban bad players, you put them in bronze. There's a ladder, so there has to be a floor. If you ban bad players, the standard of what constitutes a bad player changes. Then you'll ban the entire community.
I wouldn't say ban, but there probably should be some sort of punishment for feeding hard in ranked, or at the very least, people should not be punished when those feeders are on their team.
