Tip: "Report players who spread wrong information"

Actual tip (Thanks Kynin): "Tip: Keep the game awesome! Report purposefully unhelpful players."

I'm probably not quoting this verbatim, but I just had a game with this loading screen tip.

I'm also definitely not saying it's intended to be bad, but something really struck me as heavily wrong about it. Maybe a rewording, but overall I don't believe it's okay to promote reporting in the tips quite like this. (Or specifically what it's supposed to mean by "unhelpful".)

I've been saying it for years, they profit from bans.

First they remove tribunal and replace it with a very sensitive robot, then start enforcing the "banned for asking for reports" rule, now they're actually encouraging it. Next stop they'll upgrade the bot to auto ban you whether you were reported or not.

Except this isn't a normal store, with normal customers. Customer service doesn't matter. It's a virtual store. The game already has the reputation of "super toxic" despite being no worse than any other MMO. New players come to this game expecting it. I'm not saying Riot should stop trying, I am merely stating that they could clean it up 100% and remove every slightly toxic person, and it would still have that reputation.

"Hmm, when did riot give you access to their finical statements? You are in no position to say that They make money via micro transactions to what degree we do not know."

They don't advertise in game. Their only notable ways of making money are RP and E-Sports. You don't need to see financials to know that.

I said they do invest, just not immediately. Or they do it immediately. It really makes no difference. I can guarantee that most people banned for toxicity will repurchase RP at some stage, to replace something that their previous account had.

If they're not toxic then they're reformed players, if they buy skins then so be it(directly profiting on reforming players)

But the initial ban is what made them re-spend. Hence, banning makes them money.

I think purposefully unhelpful means like people who actively try to sabotage your team effort, like intentionally feeding, trolling teammates, leaving fights so it's a 4v5, AFKing, flaming, using hate speech, etc... Just generally negative behavior that serves no purpose except to make the game toxic.

Anyone have any other ideas as to what it could mean?
