I've been playing league for about 5 years now . In those 5 years I have NEVER intentionally fed a game in my life. I have NEVER trolled a game in my life. The last time I told someone to kill themselves was 4 years ago on my acc where I didnt give two shits about the game and what the consequences were. After that perma ban I made a new account and started to look into the competitive side of league.

I have NEVER told anyone to get cancer or for their parents to die or some shit . I have NEVER banned my teammates champs on purpose. I have NEVER tried to make the game harder by afk farming or giving up by afking. The last time I afked was 1 year ago where I was tilted out of my mind . I have NEVER played stupid champs like ap Vayne or ap riven to "have fun"

I always try to win. I always want to be ahead of the enemy team. I take every advantage I can get and abuse it. Sometimes when my team isn't very good inlet out the "JESUS Christ what are you guys doing" or "are you guys trolling or just that bad" when someone goes 0-7 in under 10 minutes.

Do I deserve to get rounded up to the people who INTENTIONALLY makw the game harder? The last game I played on this acc I had two intentional feeders who kept running down BOT . My adc decided she wanted to become a ward and sat in the enemy jungle stating "I want to grant vision"

Did I flame them? No. I was to busy trying to cs and get as much gold as possible to carry them. Had I told them to fuck off i would have been at more risk of getting punished than them.

If riot decided to put half the manpower they put into creating an automated system for bans into a system to instantly punish trolls and intent feeders, shit would be better . These guys would be scared to do whatever they want knowing they WONT get away with it.

The last punishment I had was towards the end of season on my main which means about a year ago . There is no fun in this game with how it's going. You can't type, you can't do shit. You're stuck in a game with a guy running down mid for 20 minutes and you can't afk or do anything. This game BREEDS toxicity.

Don't tell me to "move on" . I didn't queue up for a Dr Phil one on one session. I queued up to play a game. A game. Game. Not some shithole where I'm sopposed to cross my legs and sit down like a dog while my team decides how the game goes for me .

The trolls are in control right now because you'd have to watch a game to see how they screw up a game and no Rioter has time for that. However, the automated machine can see everything you type and since Riot doesn't care why you said something, you are immediately guilty as charged.

Chat's only purpose right now is as a honey pot to get people banned.

So you want the system to be so automated that only one report can trigger the punishment? Do you know how messed up that would be? You want instant punishment when things needs to be look at! Why do you think things like trolling/feeding takes a while to actually get punish because they want to make sure. If they punished every single person who got reported I can guarantee everyone at some point would have been ban and that is wrong! Then we would have a large amount of people claiming they were wrongfully ban with an actual reason.

It's hard to believe people who claim the system is flawed and does not back up their claim. This is why we as a community need chatlogs. It helps us understand what you did wrong and how to improve. If you think Riot can 100% get rid of toxicity or even people who troll/feed you are out of your mind! Name one game that actually has something like this!

What about when I play with my friend and I call him a shitter. Why should that flag the system without being "reviewed"

No OTHER GAME has this much toxicity. No other game empowers trolls this much. No other game literally puts 4 other people's time into one trolls hands and let's him/her do whatever he wants with it. Even overwatch is more fun when I'm getting dicked .

To back up my claim about flaws? You literally answered your question in the next comment. Chat logs. If the intent feeder or troll is smart they won't TYPE BECAUSE thats how you avoid bans. It's a stupid system. RIOT expects intent feeders to type "im feeding on purpose haha riot is an n wordhah u can't ban me " . No that's not how it works. Most of them just run down mid with everything muted and they don't type a word. It's easy and it works

You are talking about obvious cases. Majority of the time a troll/feeder is smart enough to try and cheat the system. If it's that obvious the system will catch it so long as people are reporting them.

You obviously don't know how reports or bans work if you even think they look at trolls/feeders chatlogs and only go by that. Again if it's obvious they catch it, people are smart enough to try and cheat the system. That is what I'm talking about. I've seen people who troll and never use chat, go positive, but still have a negative experience for the rest of the team. How is a system going to catch that, let alone a human being?

You do realize how many games are played daily? The system is never going to catch every single person,but it can at least try to get the bad ones out.

there was a scripter 2 weeks ago that spammed 200 games legit telling everyone he was scripting including the viewers of c9 sneaky and imaqtpie amounting to 50k people.

riot waited 200 games to ban this guy. Everyone in his elo knew he scripted. he ruined so many games before riot got off their ass for it.

i know 3 people who played 15 games each intent feeding in each one BEFORE they got banned. 15 games a piece. that means 45 teams were fucked over. that BREEDS toxicity.

Hey man,

This forum is sadly controlled by 20 people who don't want any discussion, just want to flame, downvote and enforce a pro-riot message.

You are very correct that the trolls have all of the power in this game and that it is the most toxic game. This is because Riot would have to watch a game to see how a person trolled and they don't have time for that. On the other hand, the automated machine checks through your chat history and anything you say becomes evidence against you, where you will be guilty as charged.

This is why people like myself feel the behavior system is a total failure and that Riot is a lot more likely to punish people who react to trolls rather than actual trolls.

Exactly right. People purposely troll or throw games because they know the punishments are very rare and very lacking.

My favorite excuse right now for throwing games intentionally is, "Haha it's only flex"

Yep. Riot would have to watch games to spot people who throw and troll, and they don't have time, so those people don't get punished. However, the automated machine is 24/7 and uses everything you say against you as evidence(where you will be guilty as charged), making it more likely you get in trouble responding to a troll than actual trolling.

I agree with you on most of this. This game actually MAKES me toxic in ways no other game ever has. Watching people intentionally feed and troll, obviously, but also just watching people be terrible and then respond to honest advice as if you were toxic. It's gotten to the point where I just start being toxic as fuck back at them. Like, rarely am I toxic unprovoked (although, honestly, I might be sometimes at this point), but I feel like I'm provoked ALL THE TIME.

When the community wasn't a bunch of sjws I remember back in s3 everyone was trash talking the other and it was the The most fun ive ever had EVER on this game.

I'm talking "kill yourselves" and "eat my dick" 'S being handed out more than anything every single game . Everyone was having a blast . I couldn't care less about winning back then because I was too busy interacting with the enemy team and my team. We were busy shit talking one another to care about the actual game . It was all shits and giggles of course but my god was it fun.

Now I cant call a 0-6 rage quit mid "bad" without me being labeled as toxic .

I've played since mid season 1, this community policed itself pretty well back then with the Tribunal, unfortunately it was replaced by an automated system and, in my opinion, while the toxicity hasn't really become that much worse in terms of things said to other players---the passive-aggressive or less overt type of toxic behavior has increased substantially.

Most everyone knows that if you tell someone to "kill yourself you worthless (insert racial slur here)" you will get instabanned, but if you just decide to run it down mid 3-4 times, follow the jungler around and steal their camps, AFK for a FEW minutes at a time, the system won't really flag you. If you say things like "great job" after your team mate gives up first blood or write "what an amazing jungler" when they are 0-4-0 and have not secured any objectives, the system won't see that as bad... in fact, the /machine learning/ even thinks you're being POSITIVE. Actually, a good portion of the player base doesn't even know when you're being sarcastic and actually says "Thank you" with sincerity despite being passive-aggressive.

So you see, as /awesome/ as the automated system may be and the fanboys that relentlessly defend it, it has actually decreased the quality of games for some time now. While it isn't the ONLY factor, it is certainly a big one.

Let me get this right. You want me to play a game where there is a big chance someone might intent feed and I'm not allowed to type or talk whatsoever about what he's doing for the 20 minutes that in sopposed to PLAY THE GAME while knowing I will lose 100 percent with how he's dying ?

Actually, yes, that is what you do.

You show some restraint, you don't talk to the troll, you don't give them attention, you play out the 20 minute game and then quietly report them at the end.

What good do you think you're doing by saying things to him, or even calling for your teammates to report him. What does that do? I'll tell you exactly what it does----from the troll's perspective it is justifying everything they are doing.

Why do most internet trolls do what they do? To get attention! If you don't react it will fade. Trolling will always exist, but the sociopathic personality of your garden variety troll feeds off of your reaction, so why give them the satisfaction in knowing you're getting to them. You mute them, you play out the game, you report them, maybe even open a ticket if they said something particularly threatening, but don't give them the satisfaction of getting to you.

Your reaction and "flaming" is exactly what the troll wants, congratulations on playing right into their hands.

Yes, it sucks when someone intentionally feeds in a game (ranked or otherwise). What sucks even more is when a person like you writes inflammatory remarks to said person for 20 minutes, because I know you're just making it worse and ensuring that this person will do it again. So, I say nothing and in the end game screen I report both of you. The feeder for feeding and you for Negative attitude and verbal abuse.

In the real world two wrongs don't make a right, and the same applies here. The intentional feeder is doing something wrong and you are also by flaming him. Riot sees it that way, most of the community sees it that way and you will have to do so as well unless you want your account permanently banned.

It's actually a lot easier to not type than it is to type.

I think it is.

In a typical loser of a game for me, we get destroyed and everyone refuses surrender, regardless of trolls of AFK's. So you get one shot anytime you do anything, while your team calls you a feeder and harasses you, and you can't say a thing back or the automated machine picks up on it.

What a load of shit, they dont have time.

They are a Multi-million dollar company. All they have to do is have an in game button "Someone in the game is intentionally feeding" and then an employee can spectate that game and punish them immediately.

Make the punishment for abusing the button serious, to limit the people who would use it when someone gives up first blood.

100% agree. All I want is the option to surrender early though. That'd be enough for me tbqh. I don't like my account being held hostage by trolls, feeders and leavers for 20 minutes.
