It literally disables your entire client..

Aside from the fact I can't communicate with allies/friends, view featured videos/links, browse my profile or edit my pages, I can't even purchase/spend RP.

For serial tho, I accept the 5x20 minute timeouts but just let me use the frocking client while I wait.

Don't worry, it only does that in the current client. I can confirm that in the Alpha client, this doesn't happen anymore. You can do whatever while your in delayed queues on the Alpha client :P
