Verbal Abuse in a Foreign Language?

Hello,

I just had a doozy of a ranked loss where our Jungler kept inting. On top of that he kept spamming chat in Spanish. The only thing in English he would say was "surrender now".

After the game, he was still spamming chat in Spanish, so out of curiosity I cut and pasted some of it into Google translate and it turns out he was calling us "pubic hairs of a wh*re." Pretty creative, to be honest.

My question is does the IFS catch verbal abuse in other languages? It was obvious that this guy thinks he can get away with being abusive as long as it's in Spanish.

I reported him, but I'm not sure it's going to do anything. Maybe he'll get punished for the inting, I hope...

I believe you did the right thing by reporting :) [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

rito is from the USA: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_Games So they do ban for abusive language

to translate that to English better for you, he was basically calling you filthy c%%ts...so the likelihood of him getting banned is pretty high. (Not trying to dodge the language filter...just think the guy should know. >.>)

Yes they do. If the system can detect abusive Chinese I think it can catch Spanish.

Pretty sure it can. It seems to work OK on EUW, and we have, like, a dozen different languages on this server?

Nah don't worry Riot doesn't care about inting.

I'm pretty sure it will - It might take longer though or require a manual review for some more uncommon ones.
