I've noticed a trend with toxicity in URF
Everyone who gets really angry, flames their teammates for sucking, tryhards extensively, and takes the entire mode too seriously...
They've all been low platinum players. Is there something to this?

A lot of plat players feel as though they deserve challenger and the only thing holding them back is their teams. At least that is what I am told on The Boards.
Urf is gone. There is only ARURF. Oh wait; it's Arurf but now the champion pool is even more limited so you actually see the same few champs over and over again. It's not a fun mode in the slightest and it only increases general frustration. Avoid this sham of a game mode if you value sanity.
And people tryhard every fun gamemode. That never ends.
