Trolls. They are out of control. In other words, I wish I could get my money back.

I wish Riot actually knew how bad the trolling situation was in lower ranks, instead of focusing on fixing match making for the "elite" players, updating an old Riven skin that barely anyone has or making bold promises about doing something with the Tribunal in the future. I invested money in League of Legends for a reason: When I see something that has potential, and I like it, I want it to grow. I saw League and I fell in love with it. I enjoyed it so much and Ranked was a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't want to go pro, or make it to the LCS but if a Victorious Bard skin ever comes out, I want it. Which is why I have such a problem with trolls. Trolls ruin Bronze and Silver and for those of us who got placed in Bronze this season......... even after being placed Silver last season.... .. we are having a hell of a time getting OUT. Our wins are amazing and our hard losses are HARD. I have games where I am the reason we won, and I have games where I am the reason we lose. But I never seek out a loss. I never go out of my way to ruin another person's fun. But others might. Others do. What's worse is these people are rarely punished. They flame us and feed, sometimes convince the other team that WE are the problem, and when it works, it's more likely that WE get penalized. I have a blocked list longer than my friends list, and I've only blocked people that violate the actual rules, BECAUSE I READ THEM. I READ THEM RIOT, I FOLLOW THEM AND I REPORT PEOPLE WHO DON'T! But in the few years I've played, a total of 7 alerts telling me someone has been punished have been sent to me. One person was permanently banned (the things he said were abhorrent and I wouldn't even repeat them anonymously, and I can say a lot without feeling anything). The amount of trolls are so high in Bronze and Silver that I've seen more people have a "it's Bronze, what do you expect" attitude as opposed to an attitude that wants to punish this type of behavior. That's not acceptable Riot. You have a strict outline of rules and regulations you say the LoL players are to follow or they will suffer consequences. And let me say, I understand that the alert you get when you report someone who gets punished doesn't always get sent, so I'm sure I've gotten more people rightfully punished, but you need to do something. Stop promising you are going to do something. For a lot of people, we have invested so much money in LoL that we would be at a HUGE loss if we quit. We don't want to quit. The game is good, the people aren't. I've actually gone so far as to see if there are legal options to get my money back. (FYI, there are very few, none of which really apply to me personally). I say in EVERY one of my reports WHY, WHAT and HOW they violated the rules. Then I add "I want this game to get better". Every time. I take ALL the feedback quizzes you send out. I always say how fun the game is but how terribly hurtful the community can be. I tell my friends that LoL is a fun game IF YOU CAN GET AROUND THE WORST OF HUMANITY ALSO PLAYING THE GAME. I shouldn't have to add that. If you want this game to be better than it is, you'll start doing something. Make more reports matter. Start taking in people to take report for small amounts of IP or RP. The reports can be anonymous so the person looking over it can't see the summoners reporting. Take the people who have been consistently good, or take applications, and look over IP addresses. DO SOMETHING. Stop making hollow promises about the Tribunal. If it's dead, tell us it's dead. These trolls aren't afraid of a future maybe boogyman. They aren't afraid of you. They need to be.
