How often do you actually report others?

Reposting this in the proper section, sorry for it being originally placed in the wrong section

Hey guys!

So I'm mostly curious about how other people think in regards to reporting. Playing through normals or even ranked games I see it in almost every game "report __" even if it's just something silly like having a poor game. When I think about myself, I rarely ever report anyone, in fact, even if someone afks I wont bother. I'll just accept the loss, know that I'll receive a free win in the future from an afk on the other team and queue up again.

So what about you guys? How often do you report others and why do you do it?

Every game or every other game, but I'm also in silver.

I know that sounds bad, and it sounds like I'm witch hunting, but I don't report people for saying "bad words" or anything like that.

If i have to report someone, its AFK, int feeding, refusing to group/communicate at all (like the whole game lol just endless into one tower)

Personally I'm not against sporty trashtalk to opponents, but I see no logic in pointing out all of your allies' flaws with disrespect

ex. "maybe we/you should've backed there" or "that build might not work against x champ" or "let me know when you can gank, I can't promise i can hold this alone"

vs

"wow you suck" "that was a bad play. wtf were you thinking?" "gg trashcan____" "are you stupid? we should've backed like i said" *spams question marks + "blind jg/bad jg/ blah"

I get this game is HELLA frustrating but we all want to win, and we all know we can't win them all, and there is only 1 Faker/Bjerger King lol

Chill pills are needed*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

I report a person roughly every two or three games. Typically, I report any type of harassment or verbal abuse. This isn't as prevalent in my ranked games, but it is very common in my unranked ones.

I report AFKs too, but in general I don't see it often.

Also, asking for a report is a reportable (and bannable) offense to Riot's terms of service policy. If people ask for reports, I typically ignore them. If they are asking for a report because a teammate did poorly I typically report the person that is requesting the report.

A lot of player do not intentionally feed, they are just playing poorly.

I haven't been playing a lot lately because of other games i need to beat down, but I would say probably once every 8-10 games. I think I am decent at diffusing situations before they ruin the game too much, or I could just be lucky idk.

Most report-worthy language I hear seems to be people attempting humor or speaking in the heat of the moment, so I don't bother reporting it. If somebody else is offended, they're welcome to report it. Of course, if somebody calls me "AUTISTIC" every time I make a slight error, I may toss a report their way later.

Generally, I don't report individual comments, but rather patterns of behavior. When I'm supporting, if my ADC says something rude to me due to a perceived mistake on my part, I'll let it slide. But if I miss a hook and they decide to flame me for the next twenty minutes while deliberately letting me die and split pushing while we should be team fighting, I'll certainly report that.

Not often. As someone who has been playing online games for a very long time, no chat related things bother me and I very rarely report anyone for chat. I do report feeders sometimes, but they are never punished.

Maybe one in five games or so?

It's not like I'm filling a quota or something. If I need to report someone then I do it. There's no real frequency.

depends on if im in ranked or normals. in ranked. at least one person every single game. if not multiple players, about once every 6 games i report an entire team. in normals. maybe 1 person every 3 or 4 games

The only time I ever report is when I get a team that all lose their lanes with each person dying more more than 8 times. I report everybody on my team for intentional feeding when that happens. I can't fuckin stand feeders.

I don't report too often. I usually only report afks and intentional feeders (the actual ones that run down mid etc.) The only time I report someone for anything else is if it's especially bad.
