Is saying things like FF at 15 Bannable?

The title says it for itself but if say its 0-2 and someone says ff at 15 is that considered bannable under negative attitude?

On it's own, no, but it does count against you, and can contribute towards a punishment, so it's advisable to avoid that kind of early defeatist attitude.

What proof do you have that it's counted against you? It's annoying sure but merely suggesting to use one of the game's features isn't toxic by itself. That's like saying "we should ff" should be reportable by itself

The two are slightly different. "We should ff" is more of a suggestion; "ff" is more giving up/negative attitude. Although, if you spam either it is bad.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with "giving up" in this game. Who wants to druggie for 20+ minutes? At that point the game becomes a waste of time. I've had games go until 50 minutes long and winning them didn't help me feel better for the time wasted. At some point it really is better to ft at 15 than have a 30+ minute long game.

Between seeing a fair few chat logs which involved general negativity (none recently, sadly, so if I want/need to provide evidence I'd have to go digging) and knowing that the IFS judges chat holistically, seeing what lines are in sequence and using other context clues to decide if a punishment is merited, it's not far-fetched to assume that early instances of defeatism and negativity ("gg ff@15/20") count against you when you're reported for it.

You can't be punished simply for asking to Surrender - like Imperial Pandaa said, suggestions are fine, but just randomly calling for a Surrender isn't, and spamming is of course bad in general.

If that were entirely true, then I would have received a punishment a LONG time ago. Maybe I got lucky, and didn't get reported that often, but I imagine I pissed off plenty of people. By itself, I doubt it counts against you for asking. It may have an impact if it is a repetitive, and pestering ask (thus would counter under harassment), but a single instance, not likely.

Yeah people should just not say anything and waste a lot of their time when they have barely any kills and the enemy team has 5-10+ times more kills. Great logic.

Nope. It’s a negative outlook of the match, but unless their discouragement blatantly affects their performance, it’s not punishable.

It’s just annoying.

Anything what can hurt other people's snowflake soul is considered punishable. You might not get punished for one instance, but keep writing this and you will get eventually banned. Rito punishes for literally everything what can be considered even slightly negative.

That is a theoretical projection. I keep saying FF when people are AFK but I never got banned ,put into a different queue. I always insist on surrender ,point out negative things ,but Riot never can detect this they would need very sophisticated AI to analyze games and determine if your "surrender" was Napoleonic or Hitlerian ! I don't have to wait until a gun is pointed at me to surrender. People AFK means no game. The timer for remake is also very bad ,3 minutes .... Riot has not taken seriously AFK detection ,I repeatedly see the same fake accounts (i.e Levelmeup100 or some weird nanmes ending with random digits login in MY games and just going afk after moving out of fountain) So ,don't worry about bans Unless you use actual hate speech ,which makes it a banable easily detectable offense no bans or penalties exist other than dropping the game in champion select and if you are offline when the game ENDS if you stay AFK during the game nothing happens to you nor any negative chat *except hate)
