someone who palys a champ for the first time in ranked isnt a troll. sure its a stupid move, but not troll.

I respectfully must disagree. If you are playing, you are bringing your 'A' game and have a responsibility not just to your selfish desires, but to the team to play something you KNOW you are good at, by first practicing at least ONCE in normals.

true. and i agree 100% you should never play a champ first try in ranked. and i personally see that as a kind of trolling. but rule-wise its not trolling

it's not weird at all. in fact it follows a pattern, that player had like at least 20 other games of tristana or lucian can't remember where absolutely killed it, but then all of a sudden he wants to play kalista???

it doesn't pass the smell testm and also the apology AFTER the lock in

You have to play a champion for the first time in ranked, in order to play the champion not the first time in ranked.

there would be a normals match history in that case.

Why would you not want to practice a champ in normals before playing in ranked?
