The most toxic division?

I've come from Silver multiple times into Gold.

I decided I wouldn't quit at G5 this season because why not?

I've, with some struggle at Plat gate, made it now to Plat 4.

I've only seen Bronze when I duo'd with Bronze while in Silver. There's minimal talking from what I've seen.

Silver has some rage people. They're "so good" and everyone else "sucks". Not too many of them.

Gold was actually a lot less of that. Gold was the most pleasant I think.

But Plat? I've had team, after team, after team rage, taunt, insult, and outright troll. I've NEVER had a full team just outright crap all over another teammate, me or otherwise, but in Plat it seems like_ that's the norm. _

How the hell do these players make it through being as toxic as they are? I have to mute and report every game. It's the same mentality that some of those in Silver had---everyone else sucks and they're the best. The only reason "they" lose is because "their team sucks".

I just don't want to play in this atmosphere. I don't want to buy any skins that I was considering. There's nothing friendly here.

Is this is what I should expect from Plat and up? Christ.

It's because of the mentality of your "true rank". Everyone thinks there true rank is higher than it really is. They only remember their good games and base their rank off of these. So basically you have a bunch of plats who think they should be challenger and when they lose refuse to say it was their fault at all when in reality they could have been better and won the game. In doing this they blame everyone else. When multiple of them are on the same losing team it falls apart and they refuse to work as a team in a team based game. This is also why plat games are so snowbally. One team starts losing and breaks down because they refuse to work as a team anymore.

Anything below gold is easy if you're better than them. People in bronze/silver are often very frustrated and angry people...unless they're just new to the game and trying to improve. However, the environment usually drags them down into it. Otherwise pretty quiet.

Gold can be anywhere from an amazing experience to a terrible one, depending on your play style and champion. People are generally the most pleasant, as most people in gold do not stay in gold, so they are not as frustrated, usually. If what your champion can accomplish isn't spelled out for your team, do not expect follow-up on plays you make.

Plats think they're kings of the world and know better than the rest of their team (despite having similar game experience). Just mute everyone that even looks like they have a bad attitude until you're at least plat 2 (starting to play with diamonds).

Diamond is a toss-up, but you can usually rely on your team a bit more and there's a bit less rage. Usually.

Above that, I wouldn't really know.

But yeah, **plat is known as the largest cesspool in league. **
